Amen. Beckham was poor last night. Bentley didn't do much but that had more to do with a complete lack of movement from those ahead of him and the fact that Glenn Johnson thought he was playing right wing so Bents had to play deeper. Bentley's only worry will be that it was plainly obvious last night that the team lacked pace going forward. The likes of Agbonlahor, Walcott and Lennon may be the ones to benefit from that in the future.

Derbyshire's a useful sub as he makes a nuisance of himself and knows where the goal is. He's never going to be top drawer though and will never be good enough to start in a team chasing European qualification.

I'm not a fan of having a drummer either. We have a chance to prove we don't need him on Saturday week when Everton come to town. Surely we don't need Hughes to get the crowd going again for that one. Huge game, big crowd, let's get behind them from the off like we did against City at the start of the season.
