In this episode of the Round Table Show, Ian Herbert is joined by Fraser Read, head of consumer at Blackburn Rovers to talk about Rovers kits.
We find out how a manufacturer is selected, how the contract is structured, the design process, the delivery process, the retail process and finally share our all-time favourite kits.
If you want to know how a Blackburn Rovers kit moves from an idea to an actual physical product then this is the podcast for you..!

FF minutes:- SW stated that the day had been a real success, at least until the last
few minutes of the game. The reduced prices meant that the club made
a little less than it would have done with normal pricing but that was
more than offset by the opportunity to get so many more faces into the
ground, including many who had not been for some years. Another day
was being planned later in the season or the start of next season,
possibly to coincide with the other commercial activities. Can this be expanded on @Herbie6590 as I thought the Watford game, especially the fanzone before hand, went really well. Alternatively is it on the agenda for the next Fans Forum meeting @K-Hod ?
At the time it was discussed there was a deal of nervousness about selecting a game for a Fan Takeover when relegation might have occurred & at the time JDT’s future was uncertain…
The sentiment in the room was to wait & kick start the new season positively.
I dare say it will be raised again in the summer. The involvement of BRFCS will depend upon precisely what is suggested & the availability of suitable volunteers I suspect.

Just a side thought - massively artificially inflated attendance today, clearly. Covert way for owners to get cash into a club? Have an intern mindlessly buying tickets up all week?
Season ticket holders are included irrespective of actual attendance

That reminds me, wasn’t there supposed to be another fan takeover day before the end of the season?
It didn’t get unanimous support let’s put it like that 😆

I think we’ll only need one win.
I worry that’s one more than we’ll get.
We’ll drop into the bottom three for the first time on the final day…mark my words…

Amazing how planning for mediocrity and the bare minimum hasn’t led to a decent season.
As Andy Holt at Stanley said when sacking Coleman…when there’s no jeopardy everyone is in their comfort zone. No pressure to excel. No incentive to try new things.
When I met JDT in December we talked about the Watford Fans Takeover & his first reaction was “fantastic”. His second reaction was “why not every game?”
That’s the difference between JDT & SW.That’s why I have a LOT of time for JDT.
