We don’t make things easy as a club do we? I’ve not been back to Ewood since my dad passed a year or so back, my wife said she tried to book tickets for me and my eldest as a surprise but couldn’t get through the website which kept throwing up issues. I assume it’s to do with her not having a purchase history but still we seem to complicate things!

We couldn’t have asked for much more today, stoke and QPR aren’t relevant in reality, plus if you want to consider them then as least Stoke winning meant Plymouth lost

Or 3 if it comes on Sunday. If that happens there is no permutation of results that enables Sheffield Wednesday and one of Huddersfield or Birmingham to catch us along with Rotherham occupying the bottom spot

For all their supposed battling Sheffield Wednesday aren’t making the most of it, it’s a tough game but one that they will now be much more nervous about than I expected this morning. Thought we’d be going into it on the back of two losses and level on points with them resurgent instead they’ll feel bruised today.

After losing to a comedy goal and red card last week luck evened itself up for them today as they took the lead through a similarly calamitous goal….only to blow it out of the water 5 minutes later with the funniest one yet!
