Yes, a bloke more anonymous than Coldplay's drummer.
-
I’m not debating that. I’m saying he also spoke about things which have nothing to do with the academy.
-
That’s as maybe, but he didn’t just talk about EFL development. Still wouldn’t surprise me if he left in the Summer, one way or another.
-
I think we already knew this. They are all a bunch of dickheads who should be nowhere near the club, other than to clean the bogs.
-
Well, given the interview wasn’t via the club’s own media department, if Broughton has gone off on one without authority he will soon be working elsewhere.
-
Two hired goons engaged in an argument indirectly. Personally, I don’t care what either has to say.
-
Surely, player trading is chiefly a responsibility for the Director of Football. I wonder if Broughton was aware of what Waggott and Pasha were up to? Obviously, any such decisions should only be actioned after full consultation with the Head Coach. It’s just another example of how dysfunctional the club is, because the owners fill key positions with hired goons, who don’t work together as a team.

I wasn’t being entirely serious, but you are right about the second part. I don’t think it’s a case of us not being that stupid, more that attention to detail isn’t our thing, so we should be okay. -

A bit harsh, @philipl I think we all need to be saying a few prayers on Saturday and Tuesday when Ireland are playing. -

Surely to God, but knowing us we’ll have forgotten to add a clause in the loan deal forbidding him to play against us! -
Pasha masks on for the Ipswich game.

I will buy five, but can’t attend due to work, (normal day on the railway). The only form of protest still ongoing is to stop attending. In a few years time the only folk going will be the happy clappers, and the club motto will change to whatever the Latin is for “We deserve this”. -

Unfortunately, the supporters sitting near the directors seats are amongst the least likely to join in with any protest, in fact they will most likely have the same mentality as the people who sit behind me , (who claim the protestors are “brain dead “). I think the Pasha mask idea is a good one, but it doesn’t look as if it’s going to fly. He is definitely the one who needs to be targeted, one way or another. Sadly, there just isn’t enough stomach for a fight. -
Venky’s, HMRC…The Plot Thickens ?

A statement to get the Facebook crew creaming their pants. The bit about Eustace is particularly laughable. As if they even have a clue who he is. -

Agreed. Suhail is the nearest thing to the owners based over here. Waggott is a slimy toad, but Suhail is the one we should be going after to make his life uncomfortable. -

The CEO is very experienced at wrecking football clubs. I agree with @J*B, though. The only person with any real clout based at the club ,(albeit unofficially), is Pasha. The Raos seemingly trust him, hence nothing changes, apart from the occasional shuffling of deckchairs. -

I agree. Hired goons. Suhail Pasha, aka the invisible idiot. -

So why leave them in post? They either never learn or just don’t care. My 50P is on the latter. -

Is the serial f*cking up / sabotaging of transfers part of the plan to get the club back to the Prem? The only Prem we might get to under Venkys / Pasha / Waggott is the Northern Premier League. -

That is interesting, because I had been thinking along the same lines as @miqaayil. Whatever we do in England won’t even register on the Raos’ radar. Would an Indian media outlet possibly entertain an advert which is polite, eg asking them to put the club up for sale? If not, the only form of protest that will eventually have consequences is to stop attending home games. To that end, I will not be renewing my season ticket. -

I think Jackson is a Sheff Weds supporter. To be fair, Eustace has been making that point since his arrival. I guess the chant from yesterday, (“I don’t care about Venkys”), is a bit of a compromise to draw all factions within the fan base together, but it’s a bit too tame for me. -
John Eustace - our head coach

Doesn’t sound great, does it, but our heads are still above water, and at least we appear to have the stomach for a fight. To be honest, a few weeks ago I thought we’d had it. Now, I’m ever so slightly more hopeful.
