I'm sure I remember Henry being moved up top, but prior to the walker era I'm not to sure as I would have been 8 years old or less.
Strangely enough, the full back was called Pickering, made a great success of his new position, was sold to Everton and played for England.

We've seen strikers as full backs and God knows what else over the last few years, so being honest I could believe TM would play that way.
If you’re an even older supporter, you’d have seen full backs as centre forward!

I’d love to see Big Ben on the scoresheet again, as well as Gally. However, we will need more, I think, today. I still have more concerns defensively than on attack, even without Arma.
Maybe BB with a brace. COYB!
Alan Nixon predicted a 2 all draw on Radio Lancs last night, with the scorers you suggested.

Cremant, Graves and Red Burgundy in that order.
A complete shambles.
Good choices I would say about the wines.

If you added Brereton and Gallagher together, I’d still prefer John O’Mara.
Favourite moment of the half: Joe Rothwell sets off in a run then, under no pressure, rolls a pass into a square of four Wycombe players.
Especially the way he performed in his first season.

Hasn’t Mowbray admitted as much that we don’t practice them much? Good managers like Allardyce know they’re worth their weight in gold.
Mowbray is a clown. I haven’t read that Mowbray said we don’t practise them but I have read that he said he doesn’t get involved in planning etc free kicks and he leaves that up to people like Venus.

Trybull was stand out for me, with he two centre halves both doing very well.
Maybe Rovers fans can enjoy a win this evening. Burgundy Pinor Noir pour moi.
Check the spelling, but otherwise an excellent choice!

An excellent choice- just check the spelling!

If I remember rightly, "Sir" Roger Jones was the keeper that day as well! My all time favourite keeper along with big Brad
I think you might well be correct. When thinking about that great team, my first reaction had been he must have come after that.

#Rovers XI: Pears; Buckley, Lenihan, Johnson, Bell; Trybull, Downing, Travis; Dolan, Dack, Brereton
Worst back 4 (5 if you include Pears) we’ve ever put out? Would be hard to beat IMO.
Might not be good, but what about when we conceded 7 goals against Shrewsbury in our first ever spell in the 3rd Division. No idea who played in that team, but the defence must have been awful.

In bold, absolutely
2 messages came out of the Shareholders’ meeting.
In what circumstances would the owners leave the club? None were forthcoming. If the Club were to be promoted, they would not look to sell to recoup any monies they had put into the club, or to clear liabilities. It was stated the owners were frustrated that they were prevented from putting more money into the club because of the FairPlay rules.

Very sad.

I finally watched Searching for Sugarman. Fantastic documentary that really sells it's story. It's one of those where the less you know about it beforehand the better. And clearly not many people knew anything about him before this film.
We've seen it twice- first at the cinema, then on a DVD at home.
It's very good.

We have bought the first series of The News Room.
Absolutely outstanding.

The Railway in Coventry. Another brilliant Indian restaurant in Coventry. It is near the rugby stadium if you find yourself in this city.
We went to one on Tile Hill in Coventry years ago that was pretty good that my wife really liked.

Anyone who visits Nice seek out these people:
http://www.fenocchio.fr/eng_index.html
Fabulous ice cream and sorbet beautifully presented. If I spoke decent French and had the time I would seriously considered importing and distributing for them
Yes.
Quite wonderful ice cream which you can sit down and eat and have a free glass of water.
One thing to be aware of is a similarly named ice cream franchise which is not Fenocchio.

Well that was a pretty loud national anthem in Brazil
And they've just gone ahead!
Now they've gone further ahead.

Good read.
12 quid tickets in all areas for this one.
Apart from Central Upper Jack Walker.

Like a bit of Nandos, then again chicken and chips has always been popular.
Took my daughter for her 18th to Prezzo in New Brighton, impressive set up but the food was @#/? and took forever to arrive. Her 18th so she ordered a rosè and lemonade that was almost all lemonade, I took it back and err insisted they put wine in it. Avoid.
I think it might depend on the branch you go to.
We went to one on Euston Road in London and found ourselves sitting next to a group of very loud customers for quite some time and were served with disappointing food;more recently we popped into the one by the Haymarket Theatre for a quick meal. The company might have contributed, but it was a much better experience.

Idiots in Blackburn End not giving the ball back.
Wrong!

Now that's an image.
It's almost true.

The Hunt is a Danish film recently released here.
It is about the impact of a random lie.
Superb.

Not a restaurant but Charcoal Cuisine which is a takeaway on Montague Street (corner of Johnston Street) is fantastic. I recommend their Lamb Korbeda Kebab's, really good quality.
If you drive past it, it looks as though there are now seats upstairs.

Is it where La Scala used to be?
Yes.
