  1. Fair enough Colin...! I think I'll stick to the fact that Wanderers no longer exist.
  2. I've heard that before, and I really want that to be true but, didn't "Wanderers" win it 3 times in a row before us 1876-1878? Is there some reason they are overlooked? Or is it just that they no longer exist? TheFA.com
  3. Wow. What do you call a good film? I thought it was incredible. One of the best films I've seen in years.
  4. I thought that was Goldie Lookin Chain when it first started!
  5. Real shame some Hull moron saw fit to disrespect the minute silence at the start of the game. Thankfully my lasting memory was the Rovers fans singing "There's only one John Taylor". Rest in peace fella.
  6. Theno, apologies for my comments yesterday, reading through other replies I may have been overly sensitive. Tittle tattle on a MB pales in comparison to events of yesterday.
  7. There are times when a tongue in a cheek just isn't appropriate. When a Rover's fan is fighting for his life, I reckon that's one of them. Maybe it's just me.
  8. Sorry Theno but that comment has to go down as one of your low-lights on this board.

  10. Just been past McDonalds at Ewood and the lights were almost completely out. I could just make out the silhouette of the manager sat at one of the tables with his head in his hands. It's gonna be tough from now on. Poor guy.
  11. Avatar 3D. Stunning. Took my eldest to watch this today. For the first time in ages I actually felt that the overpriced cinema tickets were money well spent. Fantastic film. Kept me and a 6 year old mesmerised for the full 2 hours and 41 minutes. There is a definitely a political commentary but it does fit with the plot. There were also shades of Aliens and Matrix about it too.
  12. Benni is in the shop window right now looking to attract an offer for first team football prior to the WC. For me, this could explain his recent resurgence in form. But I'm hoping that by reminding Sam what he's capable of he might convince him to find a way to keep him in the side. A deeper role, could mean he is interchangeable with Dunn. Although, if Dunn stays fit, Benni may sulk which could upset team morale. If Dunn isn't fit though, he could be worth his weight in gold. The alternative, playing him alongside Di Santo or Roberts, means he gets caught offside with alarming regularity. On the opposite side of the coin, a happy, playing Benni, with a World Cup in sight, would be a massive asset. Plus, I would hate to see him go to a PL rival - he is still a class act.
  13. They've got some offers on too. Steak and Burger offers
  14. He's fit enough for half a game with a point to prove. He had a poor spell prior to being dropped, some people have short memories. We had so many offsides in the first half today, Benni might as well have been on from the start!
  15. Close with that prediction. Quite like Collateral, that's Michael Mann isn't it?
  16. That wasn't what he was insinuating. It was more general. "We both know what Benni needs to do and if he can do that he'll be in the first team". Makes me wonder if there has been some propaganda to get a reaction. It certainly worked today. But for a few ill-advised flicks, he was superb when he came on.
  17. It's just that he's not fit. If he was I'm sure he'd be a starter. Sam pretty much said as much before the game today on Radio Rovers. Until Benni sorts himself out, he'll be restricted to a super sub role.
  18. Not sure it's quite that black and white Theno. Right at this moment in time would you be calling Roberts or Pedersen into your office to discuss their next Rovers contract? Or would you be making calls to agents to find buyers and leaning on your scouts to find replacements?
  19. Wonder if Ryan Babbel has just done a Mark Robins...
  20. If you like Juno, there's a chance you might like Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. Another quirky indie flick.
