  1. Thank you - I assume KMI is key match incident? I first read that as your performance not being fit for purpose but then realised you meant the delegate 😁
  2. See last sentence of the rule in question (not that I’m surprised he just wants to ignore it): (j) Temporary (loan) Transfers (i) A player on a temporary (loan) transfer is ineligible to compete in the Challenge Cup Competition unless permission to do so is given by the lending Club in writing and a copy is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round. Any permissions must clearly state that the player has approval to play in The FA Challenge Cup Competition. A registered Trainee or a player who is registered on a Scholarship for work experience may play for another Club, subject to written permission being given by the Club that he is registered to and provided that such permission is received by The Association by 12 noon on the Friday prior to the date fixed for playing the Round. The Association will not give permission for players on loan or work experience to play against the lending Club.
  3. If you’d made that decision, would your ‘superiors’ have pulled you up on it? I guess I’m asking whether there’s any accountability (even if we don’t get to see it)
  4. I think he’d already have walked if that was going to be the reason but as Tyrone says it would surely be one of the reasons if he did. I’m not sure we currently have a persuasive argument for convincing him to stay. I guess, like with all walks of life, it will depend on what opportunities (if any) are presented to him.
  5. Then again the ‘ignorance of youth’ may play to our advantage. Of course if we could finish more of the chances we’re now creating we’d have the opportunity to ‘rest players’ towards the end of matches. That would be good not only for the team, but for all our blood pressures!
  6. I’m sure that’s the scenario the EFL have their fingers crossed for
  7. The rules do allow for the deduction of points for the failure to pay transfer fees - of course none of us think the EFL will do this.
  8. The fact they haven’t shown it so far this season doesn’t mean people can’t be concerned that it won’t prove to be the case in April. We’ll all find out in a few short, and hopefully not too stressful, weeks.
  9. Not choked, but I still don’t know how we lost at home to Crewe in 2000.
  10. This, as always, would be reliant on how strong the relegated clubs are next season. If we don’t go up this time, we could do with all three being ‘basket cases’.
  11. It’s a 1 in 1024 probability (1 in 2 to the power of 10)
  12. Dina Carroll - The Perfect Year
  13. You need a system of interrogation to find out…
  14. Or just don’t let them on - if they want to be constructive they’d be happy to wait a few days
  15. This is the relevant part of the law: Where a player denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by a handball offence, the player is sent off wherever the offence occurs (except a goalkeeper within their penalty area).
  16. I guess the crucial thing will be what their match fitness is like.
  17. Thanks again for explaining it to me
  18. Winning the first game ‘back’ will also help the players get over today’s disappointment. I know what you’re saying about the teams we have to play but I’d rather we have the chance to beat them ourselves than having to rely on others to do it for us. Of course it would help if Luton and Millwall could implode - they must have squads that are no stronger than ours.
  19. Thank you - it’s something I know nothing about Is the data also divided (thanks rigger) into types of chance (eg header, one on one, inside box)?
  20. Which of the ‘chasing pack’ do you think will benefit from a strong squad depth in this busy period?
  21. Are these stats ‘segmented’ (can’t think of a better word) into how difficult the chances were?
