It is that simple, I still feel your descriptions were over the top. That being said, if all our opinions were the same this place would be a very boring one!

I think both these things can be true at the same time: More experience of ‘knowing how to win’ may have seen us hold onto a couple more leads towards the end of the season. Converting more of our chances would have meant we weren’t trying to hold on in the first place.

I pointed out it was a very important point… I’m not sure I’d agree with us having a lack of hunger etc - I do agree we could do with some ‘nastiness’ (couldn’t think of a better word!) in the team.

Coventry finished one point above us, clearly a very important point, but not the enormous gulf in quality your descriptions would suggest.

It might not make a difference to them getting into the first team, but do you not think it would make a difference to how they ‘coped’ with a promotion push/relegation battle whilst in the first team?

I agreed with your original post (although I’m not convinced referencing Andrew Tate was necessary) about people being out of line but I think it’s very unfair of you to include Tyrone in this. Put it this way, why is Mrs Merton funny (no context needed) but Tyrone needed to give context? They’re both suggesting (as an attempt at humour ) that someone is with someone else because of their money - neither Mrs Merton, or dare I say, Tyrone, really thinks this. Equally, not finding a joke funny doesn’t automatically = someone’s being (in this case) misogynistic. I imagine you can tell that the rush to ‘label’ things really irritates me. Maybe I’m just getting old… Rant over…
