He would need a top squad and a top budget to bring success with the way he plays. Unless he learns the defensive side of the game he wont go very far.

Well hes got some higher standard players now and i think they'll paste a lot of lesser and maybe even similar other teams but i'd expect quite a few mullerings against the strong countries.

Be interesting to see how it unfolds.

Maybe he'l blame the Swedish bus !

The owners have meddled in the club's affairs since day one, especially transfers.

I have never bought this badly advised argument it's just all too convenient and deflects blame onto people other than venkys.

    They are the once constant.

The first mantra at Ewood is don't rock the boat just do as you're told even if you don't agree it's right.

Second one is keep it buttoned and don't let anything get back to India that might disrupt or end the gravy train comfort zone even it it is detrimental to progress.

Either permission for extra spending is too slow to come through, they don't agree to it or Waggott and shadow man don't even ask them not wanting to cause any turbulence it's fundamentally getting permission from India to do something that is the issue.

I think all 3 scenarios come in to play at various times.

Especially point 3 when there are enquiries about buying the club or requests to cut ST prices and fill the place up.

  4. All this 'needs approval from India' stuff that gets blamed for everything i'm thinking now it's just a smoke screen.

Shadowman and Waggot get the budget then run the club their way whilst trying to bother the owners as little as poss in order to get their own brownie points.

A real comfortable number as long as ..

    lights are kept on.

    Costs are cut.

You don't bother the owners unless you have to.

It's probably been these two all along that have zero ambition for anything other than their own wages. Take no risks, push for nothing unless asked or told and just exist in the twilight zone, getting to close to the spotlight then draw your horns in again.

  5. Why had they set this alleged deal up anyway ?

Which agents where they using and were they just cutting the wage bill or did they have a nice drink to gain out of it ?

Seems these two operate on a basis soley to try and impress the owners with their cost cutting and keep themselves in several hundred grand a year each.  The more time goes on the more this double act is resembling the new Shagnew there are remarkable similarities to that era unfolding.

It's time to oust them !

By the way i'm presuming this loan out involved our next opponents and their quest for a big lad.

All this talk about attendances has reminded me a vid I watched recently. Putting all the championship teams in a league for attendance loyalty. I’ll link below for anyone interested.

Shows that whilst we've been ruined the remaining fanbase is very solid and that's why Waggot and co think they can take the piss.

Patience is about to run out though.

The "statement" is quite clear in the inference that whatever problems there were previously as regards getting funding over  have allegedly now more or less been resolved and there are only a few procedural points to iron out.

Everyone should keep a copy of this statement close to hand in case there is no change to the current situation. The Club and owners will have hung themselves by their own petard should that turn out to be the case.

I'm taking that as being because of the income from sales not because their problems sending cash are sorted.

  8. You'd have to be off your rocker to take any comfort in that statement it's almost a rehash of the last one.

Don't anyone be fooled the club is being funded by player sales instalments and probably more borrowing at some point and will continue to be with more player sales in summer.

They are basically hoping that sees us through until the next court hearing, it was promised in the last statement that would be sorted by now.

Just a thought this and feel free to shoot me down. What about getting a couple of thousand Suhail mass and all wearing them for the sky game V Ipswich.

He will be on TV x 2,000 then and can hardy hide form that.

    Good idea.

It's way beyond time that he was called out the guy should at least have the decency to turn up at supporters meetings to speak for the ownership.

I'd wager the majority don't even know he exists but they will do once attention is drawn.

  10. Suhail is Venkys puppet and Waggot is Suhail puppet i think that much is obvious as to how the peer order works at Ewood.

Both are doing very nicely plodding along earning a few hundred grand a year doing something most dream of, something neither are very good at but they get by winging it short term year by year.

Neither will stand up to their bosses and tell them what is what and what is required to do anything other than keep the lights on, it's called keeping the bosses off your back for an easy life.

Both should be stepping fwd doing what is in the best interests medium and long term for BRFC and telling the owners straight to sort the finances or consider real dialogue with any genuine interested parties.  They won't though they'll do the opposite and keep a lid on as much as they can whilst sitting pretty.

  11. So Mowbray after repeatedly failing to get anywhere on a mid table budget and 15 mill spent on 3 fwds then tells them to forget the promotion as it needs 100 mill to get there.

Next we have Waggot telling them the best way instead is invest minimum for FFP,  sell best players to top up the bills, continually cut the budget and don't back the coach most likely to get you there.

You'd think they might have worked it out by now and found some middle ground.

They're often involved in politics within the Maharashtra region and are one of the biggest land owners in Pune, of which Mumbai is expanding closer and closer towards. Times of India won't rock the boat.

The Venky chicken shop brand might be well known in some areas but the family themselves i don't think so and certainly not outside of Pune.

I doubt they come in the top 100 influential families or wealthy families in India and their so called influence isn't doing them much good at the moment in court.  Of course on their doorstep the media won't rock the boat if they make advert money just like in small town Blackburn with the LT.

Wider picture i'm sure if the right money was paid something could get published there have been articles before also their present issues have been reported on.

If they are falling 'fowl' of this present regime then now would probably be a good time to strike because someone is after them that's obvious.
