Gally has finally started using his physical attributes it's like it's finally dawned on him he's a big strong lad. He's been putting it about more in the last few games than ever before hes even learned to tackle.

There's a B tech Kevin Davis in there if they work hard on him.

He's always been a confidence player. When he gets going, he can be an absolute monster of a centre forward. Some of the goals he's scored in recent seasons have been pretty sensational. But he has suffered from injuries on and off, and once he drops out of the team and has 1 or 2 poor games, he starts to struggle massively.

We've really needed him and Dolan to step up in this second half of the season given BBD's form has completely dropped off, so it's a really good sign both have done that. 11 games to go, they need to keep that hunger and energy going.

I can't see BBD getting back into the side atm... he was anonymous again last night and the one chance he got he fluffed spectacularly. He needs to work his way back in now from the bench - he shouldn't be an automatic starter like he was pre-injury.

A bit disappointed with Hedges as well... he was our best player at the start of the season, but has been incredibly inconsistent in the last few months. Having Hedges, BBD and Dack/Szmods on the bench is a good problem to have though!

  2. I read the whole judgment and honestly think it’s a bit of a joke. Debating whether “immediately following” is considered within 15 or 30 minutes of the deadline is so arbitrary and useless that only someone with very little joy in life can care about.

Well done to the EFL I guess, someone taking 13 minutes longer than ‘allowed’ to resubmit an application that they knew was coming was worth them digging their heels in and ruining things for the player and two clubs. Very important achievement for them I’m sure… a tale to tell the grandkids.

Common sense would prevail in such a case under normal circumstances, but EFL can’t be made to look bad so of course this was never going to go anywhere.

If this is true, you don't have to be that big of a happy clapper to have some sympathy for the staff at the club ...

I haven’t been following all the drama on here the past few days that closely, but if this is true then it’s really piss poor from the EFL. This is bureaucracy gone mad, especially in this day and age.

People are directing their anger at the wrong place. This isn’t just some arbitrary rejection… it’s a rejection that impacts a young player’s career and mental state, has probably put some peoples jobs in jeopardy and caused this board to go absolutely mental. All because of an extra ‘e’ and a useless clause?

  4. You can tell why we've fallen so out of form in recent times. Our 15 million pound strike force have gone missing... BBD and Gally both dreadful again tonight. Morton who actually controlled the middle of the park quite well earlier in the season has been extremely error prone. Kaminski looking very shaky.

Luckily for us, the old Dack is back and he's better than ever, but we need more players to be at their best. JRC has had a great game today at least.
