  1. Going back to Bentley's U21 performance, he seemed to relish the freedom he had in the centre of the park. He was constantly looking for the ball and displayed an impressive range of passing, combined with the simple one touch possession passes. In fact, that performance was the most Tugayesque I've ever witnessed from the young man. With the abundance of c. mids we have at the club what should Hughes consider next season?
  2. Spot on. I play footy here, in the changing rooms there's always a cue for the mirror..and they have team face creme. Great game by Bentley he ran the show in midfield for England. He drifted out the last 15 mins and England did nothing. What wouldn't you give for a Bentley Derbyshire repeat performance same place in about 8 weeks?
  3. The Italian commentators are drooling over Bentley. Comm. 1 "shall we call him Beckham?" Comm. 2 "no Beckham should be named after Bentley". Fairdos though he's head and shoulders the best player on the new pitch.
  4. 12500 ish on. Including 40 odd Nanciens(? Eddie). Have they closed any of the upper/lower ends?
  5. PSG 4 Panathanaikos 0! know what you mean though - poor season for them so far (where've I heard that before?) We are sitting ducks at the moment but Nacy aren't biting. They are happy with the draw.
  6. Let's see...if we lose we face one of: Werder Bremen, FC Spartak Moskva, Bordeaux, Shakhtar Donetsk, Steaua Bucuresti, SL Benfica, CSKA Moskva AEK Athens at the moment - if we win or draw we maybe face one of (can't be bothered to finish this list).. AFC Ajax Fenerbahçe SK PSG FK Mladá Boleslav Feyenoord not much difference in quality on paper there..
