I struggle to see where the next win is coming from. Brum I can see at best a draw but in likelihood a narrow defeat. PNE will turn us over by a couple of goals, not a doubt in my mind. Sheff Weds are looking decent under Monk so that’ll probably be another Ewood draw. Leeds away = defeat. Then Barnsley at home - the big question is can Mowbray make it 3 defeats from 3 at home to the promoted boys? Looking a bit grim to me, lads.
I think there’s an international break after Leeds and before Barnsley. Could be the time to pull the trigger. Particularly if only pick up a couple of points in next 4 games.

My main concern is the odds are we will appoint someone worse. Which is what makes ambivalent about change.
This is the most chilling continuing legacy of the Venkys. Just like bowyer when we can see a guys done all he can there is the terror of what they’ll do.
For a Chris Hughton Id definitely roll the dice. But could easily be some bloke they met at a party the weekend before who claims to be the next big thing in Indian football.

Ps. Anyone else notice the big rovers flag behind the posts! I’d rather be there than at ewood that’s for sure.

All too easy in the end for England. 9 wins from last 10 vs Australia. They're lacking leaders. They've only got Hooper and pocock really who can provide leadership. Sinkler had a barnstorming half in the face of childish attempts to wind him up.
I often criticise referees vs England but fair dos to that Frenchman. The TMO guy: “I’m happy with both passes. That is not clearly forward play on.“ “Non. For me a clear forward pass”. In other words pipe down dick head it was clearly forward. Not that would have impacted on the result.
Only caught a bit of New Zealand vs Ireland before the debacle at ewood but they look a class above. Will take a Herculean effort to compete with them.- 1

Not every win is in spite of the manager and not every defeat is because of the manager but today was down to Tony.
4-5-1 at home to Huddersfield
Bennett playing at all
Bennett at left back (lead directly to the first)
Taking our best player off for the donkey
9 mins later taking Downing off for Evans the only player able to utilise said donkey.
Then there’s bigger picture errors like Walton who was quite pathetic.

Anyone who thinks Mowbray should stay hasn't a clue. We are moving no where with him.
Agreed. But we have the Venkys. It’s the rock vs hard place that is Blackburn Rovers when managers start to fail.

All our goals are self inflicted. Still can’t get over Walton. Pathetic keeping.

I've seen enough now, Walton is not good enough. I think I could have stopped their 2nd. We are.going to lose this now. We are under the cosh and Mowbary.can't.do anything

We’ve got a plethora of problems that I’ve lost faith in Tony being able to fix. But one less important but easy fix is bloody goal music.

Haven’t come from behind to draw I don’t think so won’t hold my breath.

Loss today and I think Mowbray is under serious pressure.
He won’t be but should be gone.

Never a pen but why give the ref a decision to make

Why did dick wad grab his leg. Lost this game.

Dack very deep as well. Depressing to play 4-5-1 at home vs a team below us. Particularly with bennett lb. I’ll say a prayer for the 20-30 neutrals watching this unfold on TV.

No height in this team either.

Tony needs sacking pre match if Bennett is left back. No way. Refuse to believe it.

League one defence. And no defenders on the bench.

In spite England being favourites to win by 9 + points I've got a horrible feeling the cons are going to win.
If we can get in their heads we might be ok. Their discipline has been terrible all tournament. Averaging something like 12 penalties against them so far. But of course a red card can easily happen and turn everything on its head in this day and age. I worry about Tuilangi in that regard.
No Ford either. But he’s picked the midfield I'd have gone for. It's more robust, which you need when you've got kerevi running down the 10-12 channel. And I think ford is much better when we're on the front foot.

In my life time
Post venkys:
Venkys numerous
Kean numerous
Chicken advert
shebby
Forfeiting games
Sky Sports and mass media fawning over the cretins who destroyed the club
Big date kit promotion
Coyle
Pre venkys:
Fa cup semi final following vs Arsenal wasn’t great. (mitigating factors but still low nos for the occasion)

I know what you’re saying but monkey noises or booing combined with nazi salutes, combined with it being specifically directed at our black players, combined with the fact they had a reduced allocation for similar things. There’s only one conclusion to draw.

The authorities knew there was going to be racist abuse tonight. It was discussed at length in the build up. Whatever racism issues we have here its a footnote compared to continental Europe. It’s bloody endemic there in spite what their coach thinks. UEFA will come out with all the usual sound bites of this shouldn’t be happening in 2019. Bulgaria will get another fine most likely something pathetic like 10k. Same drill as when we played in Madrid in 2005.
Business as usual.

This is exactly why I hate the qualifying rounds (and am thoroughly against extending any Finals to accommodate even more shite teams).
FIVE nil.
Yeah agree. Actually think the nations league set up is a far more interesting format. Or a davis cup style of qualification. Top tier battles it out for all the finals places leaving the bottom 1 or 2 to have a play off with the top 2 of tier 2 and so forth.
Something like that anyway. It would do away with friendlies (except major tournament warm ups) and pointless games like these.

Wales can count themselves lucky. If it wasn't for that card they wouldn't have edged in front. You couldn't get a more French performance than this. Some brilliance, some terrible decisions, some basic errors.
Wales have been nowhere near as good today. But if it was against england, they'd be out of the traps like greyhounds. Really galls me.
