Well if anyone says keep protests away, just back the team etc then forget it.

The 2 can go hand in hand

Back the team - oppose the regime

The best way to support the players is to protest against the regime even if they’re too stupid to see it.

The players also asked how we could get more fans in the stadium at Ewood. I explained to them the issues with ticket pricing and season ticket pricing — which I described as “abhorrent” — and the horrific deprivation in the local area meaning that fans would love to go but frankly have to pick between eating and heating, meaning there’s little spare money and not enough to be spending on tickets.

What was the sloths reaction to this?

Players complaining in a fans meeting about Ewood lacking home advantage is hilarious given a) the "product" on the pitch and b) the fucking moronic CEO sat there who sets ticket prices at astronomical levels....

Before this meeting 99.9% of my hatred towards rovers was the Venkys/swag and club officials. The players never really entered into it even though I think most are shite. But due to this crybaby routine they’ve sunk massively in my estimation.

  4. A secret meeting that was secretly filmed and then secretly leaked all over the internet. Oh and the secret minutes transcribed. The most diabolical useless ceo hiding behind a few players, who looked bewildered, dragged out as a buffer between him and some random fans.

This is a dysfunctional football club and possibly the strangest one on the planet.

What a strange situation. I can't remember any past instances of clubs bringing in supporters groups to have a sit-down with players after they were booed.

It’s absolutely pathetic all ways round. It’s barmy. Swag trying to deflect. Players probably obligated through contractual arrangements. Fans probably interested in hearing what shite is being peddled. Every day just gets more surreal

Did the meeting get pulled forward?

I think someone here said on one of the topics there was an emergency meeting and/or internal debrief yesterday or the day before.

To be honest it’s difficult to see what swag and his cohorts could possibly say. Sometimes clubs do things that are so fucking stupid and amateurish it makes the papers. We’ve made one of those calamitous mistakes 3 times in a year but keep the faith lads.

I know the trust are keen on opening the lines of communication but I’m not sure why. They’re just kept in the dark and fed shit. I remember during the protest days I went to one of these meetings at uncles jacks pub in lower Darwen. The concencus was folk there wanted to open lines of communication up with the decision makers (I was hoping it would be more nominating someone to whack Kean with a sock filled with pool balls type meeting 😂). Here we are 14 years later different group or name or both but still trying to reach that communication rainbow.

I actually got most of these right...I think it was just the waterfall one I got wrong. But no doubt I had to think about a few and they could have easily been attributed the other way. That simply shouldn't be the case. Joke of a CEO.

One character created purely for comic value and one presumably trying his best trying to justify his £350k. I can picture him doing the Brent dance during the emergency meeting with the trust yesterday.

Sylvester was obviously not up to the job and should have been let go last time.

Broughton is in charge of recruitment and has failed miserably. He said they would learn lessons from the O'Brien mess but evidently haven't.

    Absolute morons running the show.

If it was Sylvester the first time he should have been sacked for gross incompetence. At least it wouldn’t happen again. Now it seemingly has if it’s Sylvester again he should 100% be potted but also the egg for hiding him initially then overseeing another shitshow

  9. On any other day/weekend I’d be pretty livid at the pictures I’ve been sent about what the club considers appropriate pre match entertainment. That’s to say charging to have kiddies kick footballs into dustbins. Amateur hour. This weekend it barely cracks the top 10.

I look often at rovers and think what have these monsters done to you, look at what they’ve reduced you to.

A lot of them will be paid accounts deliberately spreading disinformation.

Then there's the element of our fan base that have as much critical thinking ability as a pinecone.

It's pretty obvious where the consensus amongst them has been spawned from as all our problems are always down to anything and everything except the owners.

    Wasn't their fault, badly advised.

    Wasn't their fault, FFP

Wasn't their fault, players wouldn't sign contract

    Wasn't their fault, shit fans

    Wasn't their fault, EFL

    Wasn't their fault, Indian government

    Wasn't their fault.....

Just use your own fucking brain for once! That's if you've got one of course.

I suspect if you did IQ tests on everyone who supports rovers there would be a strong correlation between those at the bottom and those who “support” the owners. Unfortunately as dumb as they may be they’re still capable of concentrating all their brain power to squeeze out the sentence: “support the club dicks heads.”

I suspect JDT is feeling similar to how some of us on here are feeling and could be about to let loose. The charlatans know that it isn't a wise move to have him before a mic today.

We're apparently 'negative' for complaining and highlighting this shit show. I would love to see what these people have to say when their own manager echoes the same sentiments. Is JDT a wannabe protester too?

I personally want him to walk and expose the charade. Him walking would be enough of a message in itself. It would also come as a dose of reality for those who are saying things like "credit to the club, JDT can't complain, they've given him the players he wanted", this morning.

By all accounts the club can’t afford to sack him. I suspect he’ll be livid with the transfer window and wouldn’t be shy about pointing fingers at swag/the egg which would put them in an untenable position of wanting to sack him to protect their personal pride but not being able to.

I have grave reservations about his ability as a manager but this side of him is unquestioned if he’s not happy he’ll speak his mind whatever the official party line may be.

Should be expected by now, but I’m pretty much speechless. £22m starlet gone and replaced with 6 month loan or retiree deals.

It’s just full of this shite……outside chance of playoffs, yeah 250/1 lads - fill your boots

Like a form of Stockholm syndrome. My mate is overly positive about rovers and everyone will be good and I’m very negative. My stock answer to almost every signing (particularly under the egg) is they’ll be rubbish. His reply now is yeah but Szmodics. Without knowing who the hell he was I looked at a guy not playing in Peterborough’s side, the fact we signed him and gave my usual stock answer of he’ll be rubbish. I was wrong. However, playing the percentages I’m right maybe 80% of the time.

Just thinking the jdt/egg era. Can’t remember them all but Szmodics is a very good player (arguably a Mowbray signing but I’ll give him them). Whalstead, siggy, tronstad, telavic, Moran, markanday, Thomas, Hirst, mola, brown that zee fuck character are all looking like iffy signings. Maybe a couple of those might hit the lofty heights of average certainly not good. Britain/hyam have both been very good and both been very shit. Couldn’t really say definitely they fall into either category so average.

Honestly no one would be happier than me if in the summer he says you said Atari, chrisene, koumetio, McGuire, o’riodran and mcfazean would be a bag of shit but every one was immense. Fantastic but I’ll play the percentages again and say they’ll be rubbish.
