I never heard my Dad swear, ever. The only time I heard my Mum swear I was in my early 20s.
I learnt what a twat was and much worse as a kid in the late 1950s in the primary school playground.
Nowts changed.
Good to have you back 😊
I never heard Abbey swear either..

Anyone know if Rotherham has sold out or if it’s just the ticket website being it’s usual rubbish self?

O’Brien would be an unbelievable signing, so for that reason can’t see it happening
Fully expecting at 23:05 tonight Chaddy to be saying ‘well we tried for O’Brien didn’t we’ when we sign buggar all

My opening sentence was exactly how the job was advertised. A Casual Scoreboard Operator.

Is that a rule that the added time shouldn’t be shown on the clock? Always wondered why it never showed it

Wonder how Lord Baltimore is feeling today

Alarm bells continue to go off in Chile as the image of BBD on crutches & a boot are causing panic. Ben has been deemed "irreplaceable" on the Chilean squad. The country's slim chances of qualifying look even bleaker if BBD will be out until April or beyond, as he will miss conmebol's last 2 qualifying games next month.
"Brereton reappears with crutches and an orthopedic boot"
More bothered that he’s missing games for us to be honest fella

About time too. When there are dozens if not hundreds of "fans" congregating in N01 despite not having tickets for N01 it was becoming massively unsafe in there. I know some people who have had STs for 20 years about half way up, they have had to move them because game after game they were finding intruders in their seats and having to practically start fights to get their own seats back! It's the same mentality as described by the OP, it's a selfish sense of entitlement which empowers these kids (and it's mainly kids) to do what the f*** they like regardless of the effect their actions have on anybody else.
I would agree with you if we weren’t checked for tickets on the way up the stairs, so if they don’t sit there then they don’t get up.
In what world is it massively unsafe in there, Christ

On another note I think it's a disgrace the way the stewards are behaving in NO1 at the minute. Against forest there was an army of them barging round checking the tickets of the regulars during the game which helped to kill off any sort of atmosphere in the first half. Seem to be actively trying to discourage any sort of an atmosphere

I suspect it was money specifically sanctioned for a specific player, rather than 'budget'.
Definitely not happening that one then?

Newcastle take over starting to look more and more like Venks#2 only on an even grander scale.
I think the fans will soon turn if the bs carries on and the results don't improve.
They won at the weekend?
Seem to be making much better signings than we did.

Potter, don't listen to these guys they are just on the wind up. He was shocking and I struggle to believe that he will gain a career as a pro long term. Positional sense was awful, always backs off, never got a tackle in and he jumps like a stone. Good luck if you need better defenders 👍
Well that's just absolute waffle.

Anyone know what's going on with tickets for this? Tried to buy online and not showing up - assuming we've sold out the first allocation but not seen an update from Rovers

You cant just ignore that he had more shots than anyone in the divison. Wether thats TM, or w/e he was bound to score goals/
Why doesn’t every striker just shoot more then if it would result in 28 league goals?
If you put Armstrong in this system up top with Diaz we’d be just as good if not better than we are now.

People like you make me absolutely furious. You really have no understanding whatsoever. Self-centered. Self-absorbed. Couldn't give a damn about society.
Actually unbelievable.
We've spent 2 years dealing with this virus as a society - lockdowns and restrictions. We're told to wait till the vaccines are rolled out and restrictions will be lifted. We all play our part and get jabbed. But now people are self-centred and self-absorbed for continuing with their lives.
What is the alternative? Keep locking down despite the fact the vaccines have been taken by the majority? This virus ain't going anywhere.
I'll be there tomorrow supporting the lads, it's your choice to decide not to. Definitely shouldn't be judging people who have followed all the rules in this past 2 years and decide that they're willing to make the 'risk' of going to the footy

Government guidelines that now require Covid passes at "mass events" but not football matches
250,000 pupils off school this week, Omicron cases doubling every few days, a growing crisis, isn't it reasonable to ask whether fans should still be going to games?
Either way, it's not difficult to see the attendance to Rovers' next home game being lower than expected
You do need a covid pass for football matches though? Vaccine status or negative test? So not really sure what your point is

Anybody who thinks Buckley isn’t a brilliant player need to rewatch that 97 minutes. The lad was unreal.
Brilliant win that, onto the knobbers now!

Crazy to me how people advocate for JRC to be our long term right back instead of Nyambe when the lad is so injury prone

I mean, we’re in 7th and the players are still playing for him. I could understand if we were mid table and players wanted him out but that’s not the case is it?
Whatever people think about his quality as a manger, Mowbray hasn’t significantly underachieved in his time here so ending his contract now makes no sense. This is his last chance to get us into the playoffs. If he fails then someone new should come in next season. If he succeeds there’s more of a decision to make.
I have no concerns if he is given money to spend even if a new manager comes in next season. Mowbray has signed more good players than bad.
He definitely underachieved last season. Finished 15th with Armstrong and Elliott in attack

Most of Rooney's international goals came in qualifying groups too - its making these players out to be better than they are compared to other greats of the past.
Kane's got a very good tournament record to be fair
