  1. Despite differences of opinion, we're all ultimately united by a common love. Wishing all fellow Roverites a happy and prosperous 2020. We Are The Rovers!!!
  2. Hi i have a spare Preston ticket for Blacburn end Block 4 Row 11 seat 128 (£10), and if anyone is strugling to get to Forest on Wednesday i am driving down with spare seats ..
  3. Don't phone it's just for fun. So imagine you're working for Rovers PR Machine (lolz). The half season tickets are on sale. What's your Marketing Slogan? I want one based on Fantasy and then one based on current Reality. Shoot! ....
  4. Just to echo what we’ve said on Twitter...massive thanks to everyone who has contributed to the site in whatever capacity; IT, mod, podcast panelist, podcast guest, thread contributions, articles, or just having a good old read or listen to the stuff we put out there...we appreciate it and when we get positive feedback to something we have tried or created it really makes our day. #wedoitforlove ? Merry Christmas everybody...?? ?
  5. Championship Trivia Quiz 1. Which Swansea player is rated 4th best in the Championship by whoscored.com .......unsurprisingly after watching his performance against us! 2. Who is the highest rated Rover? 3. There are only 3 more Rovers in the top 100; who are they? 4. What is our position in the “form table” (last 6 matches)? 5. Dack and Armstrong lead our goalscoring chart but who is in 3rd place? 6. Who is rated our worst player (has to have played Fairly regularly)? 7. Which 2 Rovers made it into the Championship “team of the week” (based on Bri
  6. Hi all, I'm on a flying visit over Christmas week back from Shanghai to take in a couple of games and see my parents/family. I'll be going to the Wigan game and have a ticket for the Birmingham game on Boxing Day. I have a problem though, I'm staying with my ageing parents near Eccles and Boxing Day transport means there is no way to get back after the game. I was wondering if any of the good folk here would be travelling back in that direction on that day and might be able to help me out (I'll be on my own). Anywhere in the vicinity of Manchester central or north, Salford, Eccles, Swi
  7. I always thought Nicky Summerbee played for us. I had a vague memory of him playing a few games in our promotion season with Souey. Turns out he never donned the famous blue n' white halves. Anyone else have any false memories of Rovers history?
  8. Following on from the player of the decade lets try team of the decade. Difficult with this as we've played at 3 different levels during the last 10 years, the success criteria for this is very subjective. nominees??? I've definately missed some. GK. Robinson, Raya, RB. Nyambe, Salgado, Baptiste LB: Givet, Spurr, Williams CB: Samba, Givet, Hanley, Duffy, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Centre Mid: Dunn, N'Zonzi, Smallwood,Reed, Travis, Evans, Cairney Wingers: Bennett, Conway, Hoilett, Marshall, Armstrong, MGP, Bradley Dack position: Dack Strikers: Yaku
  9. Issue 99 is here! For just £1.50, we've got a bumper 40-page fanzine to keep you entertained over the festive period. It includes a concoction not to be found anywhere else, such as a celebration of goals scored AGAINST Rovers, a 1190-word homage to Bengali-Fodé Koita, an examination of cult Rovers stickers, the discovery of a Rovers fan in Zambia and an answer to the VAR offside problem – footballers minus an arm. There’s plenty of other stuff too including: Fan Column Bingo, From The Terraces, The Very Strange Rovers Job Advert, Rhodri the Dragon’s ‘Voice From The Valleys’, Saturday Kitchen
  10. Can anyone tell me the prices for Huddersfield away and Nottm forest away? Thanks.
  11. Having watched every game that our current keeper CW as played i find it very strange on how he actualy attempts to keep the ball out of the net..Now i am not one to call players as they all make mistakes have a bad game etc but for me CW apears to have paddles on the end of his arms instead of hands which is a big factor for a player that can actualy legaly handle ther ball (in hids box)...I have seen to many ocassions were he could have quite easily have caught the ball gather it and use it to his advantage and i am not talking of 90mph shots at him ..There were yesterday and other matches
  12. Hello all. I was just wondering if anyone could help me. I purchased the attached jersey on eBay for what was a very low price to be fair. It was advertised as a BRFC 2002-03 signed jersey. I am just wondering would anyone be able to recognise any of the signatures? Thank you
  13. This absolutely breaks my heart, non-footballing staff at Bolton havn't been paid and are so desperate that a local charity has set up a food bank specifically for them. In a time when football knows almost limitless resources this is disgusting. The players have the PFA as a safety net, but the rest of the staff don't have anything to fall back on. I'm sure they'd appreciate any support available from up the M61 ...
  14. I was just wondering whether anyone on here had played in one of the Football Aid matches at Ewood? Are they any good. Was looking at playing next year.
  15. Thoughts everyone: Line-up expectations/predictions/what would you personally go with? If we lose is TM gone? Two 4-2's home an away last season, another high scoring game?
  16. An odd thread, I'm sure yesterday I saw a thread about a senior employee leaving Rovers for Blackpool, unless I imagined it. Something about Waggot tearing up a letter in from of said person? Can anyone shine some light on this?
  17. Post a funny or not funny Rovers-related or at least football-related photo for others to provide caption comments for.
  18. Just a really quick one, I was flicking through some old pictures and videos of mine from a few seasons back and was reminded of the flags which where crowd funded and implemented in the Darwen End. One was of Jack Walker on blue background with the PL trophy, I think there were three in total. I remember chipping in towards them personally as many did from social media. Does anybody know a) if they still exist? b) why they're no longer about? and c) who organised it as I can't remember?
  19. Recieve an email from Rovers today asking me to answer the survey. Has anyone else recieve this email? https://communicatoremail.com/F/gf2V3SMSc0o_55qM80dxoF/
  20. Good evening, hoping somebody can help or something. me and my mate are going to watch us ( Southampton ) play Newcastle in December, but as our games been moved, have decided to take a game in on the Saturday. We both quite like Blackburn as a club, and similarly have had our fair share of shit owners and ups and downs. That along with it being a new ground for us both. where would be good to sit? Will we struggle to get tickets? We aren’t idiots, just looking to enjoy a game of football and hopefully a bit of atmosphere as it’s not something we get to experience
  21. As per requested some old Rovers cuttings . Mainly Bryan Douglas.
  22. I have a number of rovers flags that I've designed and have been made by footballflags. Here is my latest flag on order, what do you think of the rovers badge in half white, half blue ?
  23. Some more cuttings including commentary on the best goal I ever saw at Ewood Park. Bryan Douglas V West Brom Easter Saturday 1963. There's a team photo- who can name all the players ?
