Alan75 Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Despite falling behind twice this afternoon, Rovers fought back on each occasion to draw 2-2 with Fulham at Craven Cottage. After a goal less first half, Fulham took the lead against the run of play, through a penalty when Ryan Nelsen was judged to have brought down Kamara in the box. However within five minutes Rovers were level after Roberts headed on Warnock’s cross into Emerton’s path; and the Aussie made no mistake in converting his opportunity to collect his first goal of the season. With Rovers in full control of the game with slick passing and possession, Fulham again took the lead when Kamara converted a Davies pass from the right. But their joy was to be short lived when the provider of Rovers first goal, Warnock, got on the score sheet after excellent work by substitute Jason Roberts, who had come on for the injured Benni McCarthy; seventh minute into the game. Despite a number of opportunities late in the game Rovers, couldn’t capitalise on their dominance, and return North feeling that it was points lost, not points gained. Late in the game Rovers saw the return of Steven Reid as substitute.
