Bolton went in to the half-time break two goals to the good after they dominated the first 45 minutes. Davies put the away side ahead only 5 minutes into the match and, after continued pressure, they doubled their lead through Reo-Coker. Blackburn started the second half with more pace and energy, but despite considerable possession and several decent chances they were only able to pull one goal back thanks to Yakubu's cool finish. Fans reacted angrily to the goals and the full-time whistle and it increases the pressure on Rovers' boss Steve Kean. The win saw Bolton move above Blackburn and Wanderers' boss Owen Coyle will be pleased with the vital win. View full article
