With unbiased reporting I am pleased to announce, what every Blackburn Rover supporter has known for a long time now. Brad Friedel is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.

After his World Cup exploits with the USA, Friedel has once again been in exceptional form for the Rovers keeping 14 clean sheets to date in the Premier League. Friedels performances may have been ignored by many sectors of the media, but not by his fellow professionals who have voted him the best keeper in the Premiership Team of the Year Awards.

Duff wins FAI Award

Following on from Brad Friedel’s PFA Award, Damian Duff has been named the Irish Senior Player of the Year, at the Eircom / FAI awards.
