Alan75 Posted April 28, 2003 Posted April 28, 2003 Jay McEveley left the field injured in the 27 minute as Blackburn Reserves lost 1-0 to Sunderland this evening. The injury to the young Rovers defender is further bad news for manager Graeme Souness, following the news that both Gresko and Short will miss the remaining games of the season. McEveley who has been one of the success stories of the season, after been promoted from the acadamy, was the first team choice left back prior to the signing of Gresko on loan.
