Isn’t McFadzean the lad who put his studs down the back of Szmodics?

Don’t think the club would risk upsetting JDT further by getting rid of another experienced player.
I would imagine the club will be trying to extend Gallagher’s contract on a lesser salary for more years rather than trigger the extension for £18k p/w for another year.

Because of the podcast I'm part of, I know that his agent has been very actively promoting him over the past 6 months and things really increased in January.
Could just be described as an agent doing a good job, or it could be that they decided that a move was likely in the next 6-12 months and they needed to raise his profile.
I don’t believe that this is true.
19 clubs made tentative enquires for Adam last summer but none followed it up as they were put off by Rovers stance, who at the time wanted to keep him to increase his value before a sale.

Don’t come on here as much as I used to and also don’t claim to be an ITK, but thought I’d share what I do know.
A.Wharton doesn’t really want the Palace move. Adam is very close with his family, still lives with his parents & Scott bought a house just down the road to stay close by.
Adam and family are obviously aware of his potential and knew one day that a move away from Rovers is a real possibility, however they all preferred a move to a club further north. ‘A club as far down as Wolves’ would have been Adam’s preference.
Still likely that the move goes through but it’s not because the player wants it.

Who’s the ideal replacement he mentions?

This early bird price deadline is ridiculous.
Just lost me and my uncle as a ST holder.
I’ve not been able to commit to a season ticket at the moment due to my partner not starting her new job yet, so I’ve not got a spare £379 as living off one salary.
Now they’ve increased the prices I won’t be renewing on principal.

Wouldn't surprise me If morton put a word in klopp's ear in the summer. Liverpool want a much cheaper option to Bellingham, if Liverpool came in with a 40-50 million pound offer I'm sure venkys would consider it. I wouldn't sell him for 100 million personally. He's priceless
Brilliant idea from Morton.
Here Jurgen, go and sign this lad from Blackburn, he’s better than me so he’ll take my spot in the squad. Yeah, right.

31 days - that’s 744 hours - that’s how long the club had to source players and bring in a striker. With 2 hours left we were still searching. What happened to the other 742?
I don’t want to hear the BS ‘yeah but two striker deals fell through, we agreed two deals’
Are either of them through the door? NO. Simply not good enough at all, and there’s no way anyone can change that.
Second transfer window in a row that’s been a failure.

VERY poor from the club not to announce anything tonight.

26 minutes and then we’ll know one way or another… 1am is the deadline for deal sheet signings to be finalised.

Random name linked: Ethan Brierley from Rochdale. 19 year old midfielder, I guess for the U23s.
No idea how true it is.

Just spoken to someone ITK unrelated to Rovers who said he’d be extremely surprised if Undav is on his way to us.
-
The main question is, if we get O’Brien and Undav in, who gets the bigger apology? Gregg because we all doubted him or Chaddy for being ridiculed for his optimism? 😂

Only strikers in Blackburn tomorrow will be Gallagher, Vale and the teachers by the looks of things!

I’m desperately trying to work out if I can put together a BRFCS therapy and support session over Zoom this evening. I’m thinking meditation, positive reinforcement chanting, yoga then a self observation discussion.
I’m feeling a Twitter Space from 10pm onward…?

Sheffield United officially ruling out selling Berge now. He stays until the end of the season. That rules them out of a move for O’Brien.

Not sure how reputable this Alan Richardson from Twitter is, but he says O'Brien to Rovers is off, and he's on the way to Middlesbrough.
Link? Because I cannot find this on Twitter.

OK, I'm into panic stations now and thinking logistics.
Rovers usually arrive at away games 60 minutes before the match (I believe?)On a good run, without traffic, Brockhall to Birmingham City is 2 hours 30 minutes on a coach.
Rovers kick off at 7:45pm
I reckon we have 36 minutes before the coach leaves for the game and the opportunity for a player to meet the manager before they sign is over. Does a player sign without meeting the manager in person? I'm not sure, does anyone know how normal that would be?
Usually arrive 90 minutes before, but maybe different for mid week.
Surely a new signing will just speak to JDT on the phone/FaceTime and be handled by Gregg etc.
It’s also entirely possible that Rovers had an agreement with Birmingham to use their facilities for a medical etc and for the player to complete their move in the midlands, as part of the negotiations of having 2 days notice to sell tickets for this game.

Is this 18 good enough for the playoffs?
Kaminski
JRC Hyam Cook Pickering
Morton O’Brien
Thomas Dack BBD
Gallagher
Pears, S.Wharton, Garrett, Buckley, Dolan, Hedges, ‘New striker’
Leaves Ayala, Travis, A.Wharton, Phillips, Carter, Edun, Vale, Szmodics, Brittain (injured) all without a spot.
Whatever new striker comes in at this stage won’t be a starter.
Also blocks the passage of A.Wharton & Phillips, and keeps our most expensive signing of the summer out of the 18.
This wouldn’t be my 18 by the way but I don’t see JDT ditching Buckley etc any time soon.
Doesn’t really scream ‘plan’ or ‘project’ either does it?
Just observations.

JDT threatened to walk out yesterday.
I’m not sure about that ‘not considering his future’ line.
