  1. For as much as I haven't at all rated Everton over the last few seasons, it's apparent that Moyes has somehow manufactured a team from the ashes of Rooney's departure and their boardroom in-fighting.

I find this a bitter pill as my ex-flatmate was a staunch Evertonian (and owes me £200!!), and on paper there is not a great deal between the sides, however I cannot see us winning on Sat sad.gif

    Everton 1 (Graveson 23)

    Rovers 0

All hands to the attacking pump for the majority of the 2nd half.... to no effect!

    Freidel

    Neill Todd Short Matteo

    Reid Bazza Tugay Emerton

    Dickov Bothroyd

  2. Possibly Steve Livingstone... could the proposed signing of Hartson be re-visiting this lumbering mistake?

Thinking about this one has given me a headache. Too many names, reputations, disappointments etc. to conjure with. Have to agree with Speeeeeeedie tho', Livo didn't do too bad a job for us and went on to become an absolute legend at Grimsby. Played every position on the park and once scored a goal with his arse. laugh.gif

Okay, I conceed to 'not Steve Livingstone'... really just use as an excuse to question Hartson approaches (wrong thread, I know).

However, I will also throw Martin Dahlin into the mix... surely our most ineffectual striker; makes Grabbi look like a predadory goal machine! blink.gif

Also, anyone have a particular desire not to throw Sebastian Perez into the Rovers' Room 101?

  3. MH appears to be developing a sense of 'team' within Rovers... although two consecutive draws is not a world-shattering series of results, it is a start and the grit & determination that has been being cried out for seems to be being nurtured.

I expect the post-Souness confidence rebuilding to continue on Saturday and to see Rovers hold out for the last 20 mins (for a change!) and take all three points!

    Rovers 2

    Ferguson 44

    Neill 60
