  1. you've forgotten how he took us into the premiership and acheived a shock 6th place for us last season.

    Shock???

He had the sixth highest wage bill in the Premiership and had a good few quid to blow in the transfer market... and at that stage he still hadn't had to sell off the players he had the good fortune to inherit.

Sixth is the least the board could have expected, just as promotion was before that.

This season is the first when one or two problems can no longer be solved with a desperate brandishing of the cheque book. And he's failing gloriously.

    Long may it continue.

  2. The title of this thread seems to have been cut short. Its full title was:

"Souness must go... and buy another overpriced has-been, Nationwide journeyman or a 'star' from one of Europe's minor leagues, give them a daft contract as the wage bill spirals further out of control, sell a few more genuine home grown stars to bail himself out of the financial mess he's created and then sit back and soak up the applause of the jester hat clad morons who blindly back him.

    Souness must stay.

  3. soueys record since becoming our manager..

    promotion

    worthington cup winners

    2 european campaigns

    "Campaigns"!!!   Really?

Is that what we call a home and away fixture these days. Great. I've enjoyed our West Ham campaign so far this season although the Ipswich campaign looks to be over. Hopefully we'll have more luck as we set out on our 'Millwall campaign’ on Saturday.

    Campaign indeed...

  4. Souness says he's staking his reputation (???) on Barry Ferguson.

    OK. Bye Graham.

Saw bits of your game last nght, flicking between a repeat of 'House Doctor' on UK Style and some crap documentary on BBC1.

My God, what a depressing experience those trips to Ewood must be. That moronic drummer pounding away (is it ok to mock him or does he have ‘problems’?, a crowd made up seemingly entirely of 'family supporters’ (the worst kind of fan), dour fat men and simpleton kids in jester hats... and just the one god damn song.

'Shut the hell up!' Which thankfully you did.

And the team? Easily outsmarted by an injury hit Charlton side.

    And where was Ciccio?

Your going down, chumps. Ha Ha Ha.
