Minutes ago, Rovers manager Steve Kean has put in a guilty plea to his drink driving charge at Macclesfield Magistrates Court. Kean was arrested on the M6 back in May and was reported to have 65 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, which is almost twice the legal limit.
Despite being represented by Nick "Mr Loophole" Freeman, Kean decided to enter a guilty plea.
Whilst it is exceptionally unlikely Kean will face a custodial sentence, it does call into question whether the conviction will impact Kean's future at the club.
