Yep, managed to snag one on Friday. Hopefully it should turn up today or tomorrow!
-
Still looking for a copy, wish I'd pre-ordered now!
-
The gamecube one is the only mario kart I haven't played. The others have been worth buying, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that this one gets some good writeups!
-
Sorry if it's already been said but has anyone tried the Call Of Duty 4 demo? That game is looking brilliant, roll on release date
-
Nor have I - but it's free! Might as well get them

Woo! I just got an email from the online store saying my preordered shirt is now being processed!

EA always manage make the worst control system ever, *adds to his games to avoid list*
-
The Wii Play pack isn't supposed to be that good and only really worth getting for the "free" controller. But in the last week I've found myself playing it quite a bit. I've mastered the shooting range but the Find Mii, Laser Hockey and Fishing have kept me entertained for a bit longer. 2 player shooting range is quite fun too

Surely, with us saying he's not for sale just means that Benni'll kick up a fuss until he's sold?
-
Yeah, I tended to opt out of the Nunchuck tests when I first started but I love them now!
Damage, if you're really going to party mode then maybe have a look at some of the reviews of Warioware Smooth Moves, I think up to 32 players can play (if I remember right) and it basically invloves loads of quick fire tasks that last a few seconds before switching to the next player. There's about 4 multiplayer modes that can be unlocked. But it is weird, so it might not be your thing
-
Weird, maybe you need to open up the 3 boxing challenges before you can do it?
-
Still never happened to me.
You don't choose No when it asks if you want to use the Nunchuck do you?
-
No, but it is nothing less than you ask to be for the price tag.
Yes, Tiger Woods is awesome and has improved my golf technique in real life. Although my tennis is still as rubbish as ever.
I found the control system in Tiger Woods to be really disappointing, but with it being an EA Sports title I expected it. If only it had a swing like the Wii Sports golf game, not the power bar bit, just a system that recognises when you're swinging a lot better.

One thing that's always worked for me is sitting down and going through each player (starting position) and setting what I want each of them to do, I find it works a lot better than the overall team settings (although I do still use team settings for a few of them). If I remember tomorrow I'll upload the 4-4-2 I've got. It's helped when I've been in charge of Blackburn and currently got Hereford from League 2 to Championship in 3 seasons
-
Seems fine for me, although it did ask me to update my details.

I managed to get my hands on a Nintendo Wii on Thursday, it is bleeding fantastic, so much more fun than just pressing buttons on a controller. Tennis, Baseball and Boxing on Wii Sports are fantastic but knackering!
I'm still enjoying the Boxing one in particular on the Wii Sports pack. Once you get up to 1000+ level it's a lot harder and a lot more fun!

I have just finished downloading the v.7.0.1. patch and not knowing where to save it to, I used the path D:\ Prog Files\Sport Interactive\Football manager 2007\ data\downloads where "downloads" is a new folder I created to put the downloaded file 463.exe into.
I then ran my virus scan over the downloaded 463.exe, and that is as far as I have got. What do I do now to get the patch into the game and active? I have this horrible feeling that I have made it hard work for myself, but didn't know what else to do. Somebody please help!
...try double clicking it

There is a 7.0.2 patch. Although it's mentioned in the forums I can't see a link from sigames's main site. I'm sure there'll be links to it somewhere.

I never go ultra defensive as this always tends to mean the opposition attacks more. I usually set the team more defense minded, waste time and long balls. I sometimes turn on counter attacking too.
-
Ooh, Zelda: Ocarina Of Time has just been released on the Virtual Console apparently! Might have to get that!
-
Ooh my game that froze after 2 seasons now works! Well it hasn't frozen yet!
-
The age old debate! I usppose it depends what type of games you're into, whether you'll like the Wii or not. If I personally want something like GTA or Call Duty, etc I'll just use my PC. I've always found that Nintendo games are a lot more about fun than graphics. I can't put down the Wii Sports pack I'm verging on PRO status on boxing
-
I've appeared in the game, although I added myself with a lnc file (not the editor). I'm currently 18 y/o CB/RB for Blackburn, although it says my main nationality is Irish
I'm managed to get Ryan Nelsen to train me which seems to have worked and now I'm on loan to Bradford (one of my feeder clubs).

So then anyone up for playing online? I found battle mode quite good online, the teams work well on that but I'm not sure about teams on normal racing, seems a bit pointless. My mario kart number is 1161-0664-0413.
