You are obviously clueless about goalkeeping. 2 bad kicks in a game where a lad hasn't played for months. You would rather have Hilton play when he is currently behind an 18 year old.

Any mention of the throw over half way to set up an attack? Anymention  of the cutting out attacks, ?

Was it his best performance? no clearly not. Maybe you should check the error our new keeper made last season?

Criticism of our young players on the first game back is lame. Get behind them.

Could not agree more. I actually didn't think he played badly. Yeah dodgy pass at the end of the half but if that hadn't happened he looked solid. Although he didn't have a lot to do.

Eastham looked composed but wasn't really pressured.

I know how highly rated they both are. I also know how highly MK Dons rated him. Pity Covid got in the way.

Most people on here know that I'm a very big advocate for giving youth players game time, and often it's the source of many a debate for myself with other posters. But here I'd have to disagree. Walton was clattered (by whoever, our man or theirs) for the goal against Wigan - maybe a foul, maybe not. The team in general had played shit enough anyway though. Their goal was coming no matter what form it came in.

Fisher is a good shot stopper, but like Raya he's 5ft 11" (if that) and has literally ZERO first team Championship experience. So to answer the question "How Could Fisher Be Any Worse" I say, quite easily. My question would be, is there any evidence whatsoever to say he'd be better?

We've paid for Walton til the end of the season so we'd better get our use out of him. Fisher won't start next season so giving him minutes doesn't benefit us either.

Fisher is actually 189 cm just short of 6' 3". Don't read too much into his loans either. There are reasons he didn't play. However he cannot play for Rovers this season as he has been loaned to 2 clubs.

Had a look to see how Fisher is doing on loan at FC United. Seems to have played every game. Shipped 10 goals in his last 3 though. FC United could just be bobbins?

Would have thought he'd be loaned higher up the ladder really...he's 21 now, wasn't Raya loaned a league higher at 17?

Fisher has apparently gone for experience. Being non league he can be recalled instantly should we get an injury or suspension. I think the Telegraph reported that there was league interest but he would have to stay for the season. FC look poor but Roverschat article states he is doing well, despite the goals.

    Is he smaller than Raya?

Spoke with someone connected to the club earlier. Aparently Raya ia 6' 1" and Fisher is 6' 3". Fisher aparently is young and needs to fill out.

He also said he has previously done well at penalties saving 3 in a cup match v Southport.
