Could somebody PLEASE confirm that Sylvester is still at Rovers. I have been told that Silvester left well over a year so and that Chesterton took on Sylvester's responsibility. Is there anyone who could confirm or put me straight on this point?

I suspect a good number - myself included - have budgeted for getting paid at the end of the month before renewing.
For those intending to renew their Season Tickets in the last few days before 4th June deadline, please be aware that Rovers are closed on Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June for the Bank Holidays, but they are open on Saturday 4th June. Just a heads up.

We have been going in Blues Bar for many years.
1. Prior to this year Season Ticket Holders only 1 pound only entrance.
2. Jugs of ale available 12 pounds before 1pm, 13 pounds after 1pm (4 pints per jug)
3. Before 1pm seating available on most occasions but plenty of people in. After 1.30 - full
4. On many occasions queues outside waiting to get in after 1pm.
5. Waiting time approximately 5 mins for service at the busiest times. Experienced bar staff - no hassle.
6. Food available at sensible prices.
This year:
1. No jugs of ale available, high prices for pints
2. Waiting time in excess of 20 minutes for service
3. Staff untrained, couldn't even find credit card machine.
4. Wanted a coffee, guy behind bar did not even know they sold coffee or how to do it.
5. Now want to charge 3 Pounds for entry and allow entry to anyone after 1pm.
6. Some staff can't even pull pints of beer correctly. Absolutely rubbish service.
Bank Holiday Monday we went to Clitheroe FC . Two people behind bar serving everyone. Had the new bottom-filled glasses (as at Wembley and Tottenham) approximately 5-10 second to pull a pint.
What the hell is going on at the Rovers when a clube like Clitheroe can have modern technology to serve people quickly and politely and Rovers can't cope (or won't cope) with their members?
Season Ticket Holder watching Rovers for over 70 years, paid for my Season ticket last year but did not get to see a match, didn't complain. Rovers needed the supporters' help and this is how they treat us. Something sadly wrong. so sad!

A small report in the Sunday People referred to the English Football League's alterations to the Financial Fair Play and stated that: A) proposal was put forward to increase the amount of loss a club could make to more than the current £39m over three years. Only 6 clubs voted for the amount to be increased, therefore the resolution failed miserably; b) Resolution passed to allow points to be deducted for any team breaking the £39m barrier. This is on top of the current regulations. c) When the clubs' financial year ends at 30 June, a committee will be set up to review which clubs have broken the £39m barrier in FFP and what punishment they will suffer, which will now include point deduction.
Our CEO, Mr Waggott has stated that we are currently inside the FFP target of £39m, but not by how much. It would be foolish, imo, for Rovers to spend £5m (just a guess - I wish) on players prior to 30 June with the possibility of pushing us into FFP. So I can't see any serious amounts of money being spent until after 1 July, which puts us into the next financial year. Am I being too logical to expect the odd freebie or loan-signing until we hit the 1 July? This is just an observation.
Is the Sunday People correct? Any ideas?
