We didn't get rid. Mobray didn't want to let him go but also didn't want to hold him back. That's why we have a very large sell on fee agreed. Fisher knew Pears was coming in and the connection to Mobray. MK were desperate to get him back. So why do we all make an issue of him not playing on loan. Doesn't add up.

We keep going on about pre season. He is a young lad who hadn't trained or played for 6 months yet we expect him to be faultless. I personally think we are going to regret it.

You are obviously clueless about goalkeeping. 2 bad kicks in a game where a lad hasn't played for months. You would rather have Hilton play when he is currently behind an 18 year old. 

Any mention of the throw over half way to set up an attack? Anymention  of the cutting out attacks, ?

Was it his best performance? no clearly not. Maybe you should check the error our new keeper made last season?

Criticism of our young players on the first game back is lame. Get behind them.

Awful? break it down and it was 2 bad passes for a young lad who hasn't played for ages. Other than that what was bad? Yeah Eastham looked more settled and composed but is very young and will have time. Fisher needs game time, probably on loan but dont write him off. Hilton not even considered.

Eastham looks better than Fisher.

 

In all fairness, Fisher hasn't played or even trained for 6 months. Eastham and Hilton trained with the first team until the end of the season. A lot of players looked rusty and the conditions in the first half were poor. I am sure they will all get better as the games progress,

Hi all, new here, thanks. I know someone who knows someone (make of that what you will) . The club will try to bring in 1 or 2 depending on money. Fish may step up but not ready for number 1. Dont read much into the loans. He went to Northampton to cover at last minute. The agreement was that he would play checkatrade games. Read the reports he was nominated for man of the match in all 3. 

Dont forget we were talking about Cornell coming here not so long ago.

MK Dons was a little different. He turned up just recovered from injury and concusion from training that kept him out of the Portugal training squad. The MK keeper played well but he was always destined to play but for COVID. Either he or Hilton will probably go out on loan next season. 

Eastham is also highly rated but a little young.
