Not one to say I told you so but at 5’6 and 10 1/2 stone you’ve got to be a hell of player to cut it in the champ, Ayari is not a hell of a player
Some of the female players are bigger than that

Dolan for Ayari , Buckley for Garrett would be my pick, it needs something

Its actually difficult to watch, they don’t know how to pass when we have it over the half way line

Hoof ball, was painful

The gaff is down to Broughton, whispers he’s going to walk and take responsibility for the transfer failings.

Didn’t realise Hyam had that burst of speed in his locker, funny S Wharton got POM thought he was quite poor, he really doesn’t suit this style of football,
my POM was JRC or Tronstad

If you wanted any game to break a bad run it would be this one, with their poor away record. Changes are going to have to be made but I'm not entirely convinced about who go's out and who comes in.
With JRC, hyam and Wharton unavailable the back 4 picks itself. I'd like to have dropped brittain who isn't playing well and I've come to believe he unbalances the team (compared too hill). I don't think Travis at right back would make the team stronger.
In midfield, szmodics fitness permitting if a guarantee. As probably is Sigurdson on the left after 2 assists vs Hull. I believe tronstad and Wharton as a pair are pretty good. Whether they've got the freshest of legs after this period of football I'm not too sure. Personally I'd get find a way to get Travis or garrett in there to give us a bit of energy and perhaps help stop counters especially down the right hand side in the gap left by brittain. This pulls szmodics out of his 10 role but until we can get a couple of bodies back I'd look to shift him into the front 3 on the right hand side where he finished the Hull game.
None of the other attacking mids / wingers are showing anything atm. Striker wise I just think JDT has to pick the striker he thinks can get the most out of in the long term. Telalovic did okay vs Hull but so did ennis off the bench. I'd go ennis. In summary I'd have something like this:
Leaky Leo
Brittain. Carter. Hill. Pickering
Trav. Tronstad. Wharton
Szmodics. Ennis. Sigurdsson
Subs: Hilton, Gamble, Duru, Garrett, moran, Markanday, Leonard, telalovic, +another academy lad who won't realistically get on the pitch.
I think your right, only change is Semir for Niall,
think Travis is a shithouse and it’s what we need, he’s a captain, Szmodics isn’t, he always has the face on and hyam doesn’t speak.

I think we'll win tonight by a couple pf goals. We're desperate for the points and Luton won't be at full tilt.
Will go down to the final day where I reckon we'll draw.
After todays result, Luton will definitely finish 3rd.

I don’t get the negativity, we are way above were we should be with our budget and players that we have.
let’s just enjoy today, get behind the team win lose or draw.
it’s been an inconsistent season, I would love the play offs but it’s not the end of the world if we don’t make it.

Thank you
Buckley was giving the linesman a earful as I was right in front of him, should of been a Red card all day.

Your judgement is so consistently poor I would not want any of your contacts anywhere near the club.

Looking at the current table we drop to 9th if we lose this
My fear is we will spiral down the league, again!!!! At least we have some consistency there.

In fairness wasn't a majority saying the same about Brereton a few years ago?
Yes and he looks like it back to Brereton of old. I would of scored that chance with fluffy slippers on. Let’s face it his head has gone. He’s not score for 3 months!!!!!

Diaz looks a spent force. No directness from the team. It’s a difficult watch.

The main issue with this team is Ayala. He holds in to the ball far to long and he’s passing choices are awful, midfield look for the east pass back and I just don’t get it. We are masters of our own downfall, this persistence to play it out from the back is mind boggling.
jake Garrett scares me to death, he’s a walking red card and don’t get me started on Gallagher, for someone so tall he is shocking in the air, and so re-active. He lacks any footballing intellect.

Regardless of if they are ready too. Vale probably will never make it at Championship level.
He is league two level. He just doesn’t have that footballing brain.

Today was embarrassing in so many levels. The team don’t know what style to play, eustace is a puppet and will take us to league 2. The atmosphere is starting to get a little toxic, I can see us only getting maybe 2/3 more points.
