I suppose Gamst Pedersen is starting the game as Hughes was impressed by the left wingers game against Wales before summertime. When Gamst P. went off Hughes told him personaly he was impressed by his display.

news conference live on ssn at 1130am, also live on roversworld and bbc radio lancs, I would also imagine a snippet maybe heard on fivelive !
Any news?
-
Great! He and Dowie was my favourites! Hughes a bit ahead as he probably can attract more players to the club.
Is he in charge from today or day after the Portsmouth game?
-
Ehh.....
-
What is happening???`?``?`?

Its time for some news!!! I tired refreshing this site every 5th minute. Its just the same old news. Come on mr Williams and leak som information!
-
Im happy nomatter its Hughes or Dowie. Both are some good managers getting respect from players and fans.
I would expect the rovers playes to give everything from day one if Hughes is the man. I think Dowie needs a month or two earning the same respect from the players as they dont know to much about him.

It is being reported that Mark Hughes was interviewed for the job today and is set to take over as manager this week.
He asked to be allowed to stay in charge of Wales for the World Cup qualifiers with England and Poland and the Rovers board agreed.
If so, Im not sure what to think! I hope Hughes becomes our manager, but Im not sure if he is in charge for Wales as well. If so, I needs a decent nr. 2 at Rovers. Cant wait for some news!!!

If Hughes wont come, I prefere Dowie. HE has good reputation among fans and players, and seems to care about every level at a club, from reserves to the star players.
I cant understand Hughes if he dont take the chance. A man who hates loosing more than any, and now he has the chance to have a game every week fighting for a win. What would you choose, Wales or a PL team? Cant be that hard!
-
Hehe! =)
I just want som news! A clue!
-
O`Neill
Hughes
Dowie

If we get O`Neill, I look forward to playing in europe next season!
He is the best we can get, maybe to good!

Berg aslo says Souness has several clear weeknesses as manager. Berg wont tell ous what. The choice of manager made by Newcastle also supprieses Berg.
Berg always been a hounest man, so it might be for rovers best letting souness walk away. The importent subject is who to look for.

No TIME or point to give someone 'a go'.We could go down to division 1 that way.We have to give it to someone with a proven record.
Strachan would be reasonable I'd say.
Houllier is not that bad,but has he gone stale?
Hoddle I wouldnt mind,he is a good manager.
Venables,hmm...
NO GRAHAM NO SMITH NO Steve 'mercenary' Bruce.
I hope you`re ironic!?!?!?
If not, I think you`re better off keeping mouth shot!
-
My pre-christmas-gift-wish-list
1. Ranieri
2. G. Graham
3. Sir Robson
4. Hitzfield
5. Strachan
If we ever get Houllier / Venables / Hoddle I will never see a blackburn game again before he is kicked again! Anyway, we would probably be in div. 2 with Houllier.

Im a bit sad about this news. Souness is a great caracter. Anyway, its not worth beeing ###### off! We have to look for a new "master"!
We have to use time on this one!
B. Robson is a good choice. So are Gordon Strachan and Mark Hughes.
Maybe we should look overseas....
Its not a easy choice, and "the one" got some huge affect on our future. Will we go down, or maybe fight for a place in Europe.
Personally I would like to see Robson in charge, but I got this feeling hes to old.
Eriksson would most likley end his England job, he might be a choice.
My nr. 1 man is Ranieri!!! The chance for him leaving Valencia is small, but if he would, he is my nr 1. Cross my fingers for Valencia losing their 3-5 next games!
-
I realy like Dickov! He might not have the best skills, but he gives 110% always, uppset the defenders and makes space. I also think his display fires up the rovers supporters! All I need is 100% effort!
-
message to other rovers fans: dont get influenced by other rovers fans on here who like to criticise players without seeing them play just stick to your own opinions.
Anyway, can the club ever win. You call Yorke a disgrace, well, he's gone!
You all say Jansens past it, and now that another club shows interest in him, you all say he can do a job for us. You say you dont want anymore golden oldies, well now you've got a young english striker with pace who has great potential.
Some of you should just let the club do what they feel is best, as they obviously have more brains than some of you on here.
Thank you!
We all wanted Yorke out! Now he is!
Well, we still got Stead, Dicky, Gally and Jansen. And Bothroyd could become a star like Stead. We`ll just wait and see. Im quite happy seeing youngsters coming in...
Dont worry, be happy.....!
-
He was clearly nervous, I promise you he will only get better, Im quite sure he will become a hit on the left.
On friday training he had 5 freekick shots at friedel with wall, he got 4 behind friedel.
Hope to see some of that soon....

GMP was poor - makes Emo look a wprld beater by comparison. What a miss!

Souness has told Gamst Pedersen on training today he will start against man u.
It's just in-which position that worries me..
I`ve got a good feeling about the manu game.
I think Gamst P will have a positive affect on the squad. They might have a young leftfooted player who both defend and attack well again. He is that kind a player that the opposite team might use two defenders at. Allows more space for the teammates.
But give the guy a chance!!!!!! Not slag him off after one or two games. Hes just been here for one training. Hopefylly he will be a star allready today!
-
If Krislu says the worlds flat id believe him at the moment
I can confirm that Gamst Pedersen WILL get his debut against ManU, meaning he will play part in the game! I'm going to watch on tv, but for all of you that are going to the game, shout PEEEDERSEN PEEEDERSEN if we get a free-kick just outside the 18y box..
(Please listen to Krislu this time... )

Agree! We have a good team, just need a guy who knows how to put it together as a TEAM, not just 11 players on the field.
Hughes I belive is that man!
