Maybe it's a little early to be worrying about relegation battles!! I think we have 5 fit and able strikers, just that Matty isn't the number 1. We still have to see what Jay can do remember?????

Maybe Souey was trying to off load Yorke. Many teams aren't gonna buy him without seeing if he was in form or not. Maybe this was one of Souey more clever moments! What an inspiration!!!!

So what do you all think will be the striker priority now then?

I think it will be:

1. Dickov

2. Stead

3. Bothroyd

4. Gallacher

5. Jansen

Yep, sounds good to me. £250k plus about £1.5m a year off the wage bill. We can't complain............

Well if Jansen doesn't get into the first team in the next 3 months I think he will seriously have to look at leaving in January.

I don't think he is going to get a better chance than the one he has now.

Wasn't it only a few months ago we were complaining that we needed a decent left midfielder and to strengthen our defence?

Well we've done both and some people still aren't happy.

I think we have to accept we are not gonna get the best players. What we have to do is get a team of really good players though and give them time to settle.

I must admit I like the fact that we now have a lot of younger players so over the next 2 - 3 years we should be quit stable and starting to move places.

As long as he scores some goals I don't care what he looks like........
