Main reason for me is that i take my 11 year old and have done for last 6 years as season ticket holders. He is proud now to be a rover when all his class mates are what he calls glory fans ie Man U and Chelsea.

Pleased with the win yesterday. I was amazed that defensively we looked so fragile. Every time they attacked in the first half they ran right through us. Hughesy called it right bringing Mokoena on and giving them a right good rollicking at half time. Glad Benni scored but he frustrated me when we under pressure and looking for an outlet to hold the ball he constantl tried stupid little flicks instead of keeping hold of the ball.

Impressed with Nonda, obviously he needs a few games to catch up on fitness but looks promising.

Did anyone see Savage laughing with the fans on the Riverside when fouled near the touchline, went down holding knee and after a minute or so gave Riverside a little smile and laugh - class!

I sit in Riverside near Blacburn end 6 rows up. Not brilliant view of Darwen end but when you've 4 tickets to get, it helps the cost. It is ideal for getting onto liner when he drops a clanger!

Big game for the Rovers - but we should beat them. Last year at this time they were bottom of Div 1. dont think they habe improved so much that they should scare us. Yes they are well drilled and committed but every team should be that! We should have enough quality to beat them. I am still concerned about our creative ability and without Toogs passing we really will have to work hard.

We need some pace in the defence and an out and out left back who can push on when required has to be better than an out of position centre back.

Someone needs to tell Fergie to pass forwards sometime - starting to look like Ray Wilkins with his sideways passing!
