  1. Anyone know where the arsenal team are staying on friday night? MAybe we could arrange for someone to set a few alarms off in the middle of the night? wink.gif

Good idea we could arrange a sing a long outside their hotel, when it's kicking out time in the pubs and clubs. Anybody know were they are staying??? withstupid.gif

  2. Where I work, there's only one Arsenal fan that I know, who's going & he's only going because I arranged the transport, he wasn't going to bother - all the others I've been chatting to are saving it for the "big one"

I hope all the people who have been complaining about this, that and the other, are going to get behind the players as much as they been moaning on saturday withstupid.gif

  3. Ive heard the kick-off time could be delayed due to the train problem in London. Thousands have bought there tickets and will be turned down because they need to reserve seats. and none of the FOUR saturday morning ones have any seats left

so it could be 15,000 on each side!! biggrin.gif

I hope it is delayed just to let the FA look stupid and incompetant, for having the kick off time so early! That way i can start my campain to be the new chariman of th FA. Anybody backing me???????????????????????? withstupid.gif

  4. don't no weather it has been mentioned anywhere but rovers were selling £25 tickets 2 day

Rovers have had £25 tickets available all along. But for a long time no IT'S ONLY SINGLES.

People were asking for 2 or more tickets and being told they couldn't have them so the word spread that none were available. However, as long as you happy not to sit with your mates there are still (or at least were on Saturday) £25 tickets available.

Just read on the FA website that the reasoning for having the semi's in Cardiff is enable the most supporters to see the games. In which they state Man Utd, Newcastle Utd, and Arsenal will have over thirty thousand at their game. Well what about the smaller clubs who don't have as many fans, to replace the fans who don't go to cardiff!!! I hope there are stall sellers outside the ground selling shirts saying FA / (F*****G A**E) that way the muppets at the FA can by the shirts so they can be STONED TO DEATH, for the half time entertainment!!! withstupid.gif

  5. Something else I also mentioned last week about after the horse has bolted. - IDIOTS

Is it me are is everybody constantly whinging about someting the semi's. I understand that it's a pain in the arse to get accomadation, to get there on the train, the price of the tickets, how many we have sold, were to park, how ###### it will look for the players to see an empty stand, and any other reasons people are constantly moaning about. Would you rather not be in the semi's??? I THINK NOT, so shut up moaning and EVERYBODY try getting behind the team on the day. Even those people who never do sing. Because look at it this way if everybody gets behind the team as much as they have been moaning, we will still make more noise then highbury library supporters even though we are out numbered.

And before you start attacking my post i understand why some people cant go, and i'm not saying you won't get behind the team, but just shut up whinging about and support team. because you are doing my head in. mad.gif

  6. it can't be that difficult to get there on the train. If there are works on the train line betwen Brsitol and Cardiff,

the train companies will be putting replacement buses on, and it will take a little bit longer than usaul

    a) It will be impossible to get their on the train on the Saturday.

cool.gif A LITTLE longer, I doubt that very much, the replacement buses never run at the same times as the trains they replace, and they too will be caught up in the traffic trying to get over the Severn Bridge. PLUS they will stop at all stations to cardiff on the way. Forget that one.

ph34r.gif On the national rail map there are two lines from Bristol to Cardiff. the line from Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff is rail replacement buses, and the line from Bristol Parkway to Cardiff is trains!!! So chill

  7. So as the problems are between bristol and cardiff you could stay in a few places. Newport is obviously one option, Cymbran, Pontypool, Abergavenny and Hereford are all on the same line so wouldnt have to go through Bristol.

Yes but not to the point that most of these places are mostly fully booked up in terms of accommodation, and would increase the demand even moreso on transport etc required causing more congestion.

Remember its not just Flopsy in this position.

Can people keep there knickers out of a twist about getting from Bristol to Cardiff it can't be that difficult to get there on the train. If there are works on the train line betwen Brsitol and Cardiff, the train companies will be putting replacement buses on, and it will take a little bit longer than usaul so people will have to get out of their pit a bit earlier!!! I ain't gonna let the rail companies make me miss the game, and besides if you cant get to Cardiff from Bristol on the train or rail replacement buses there are planty of sheep to get a ride off to Cardiff since Wales and the west country is full of them!!! ph34r.gif

  8. official site confirming that Bristol to Cardiff trainline will be a replacement bus service!!  ohmy.gif

You've got to admire the way they advise the fans not to stay in Bristol a good week or so after everyone's booked their hotels.

I suppose we could organise a mini-bus or something.

A bit late to tell us all when everbody as booked there hotels in Bristol, cant be that difficult to get to Cardiff from Bristol tho, just take a bit longer than usual! I bet the FA looked at train travel when deciding to have the semi's in cardiff! The FA couldn't organise a gang bang in a brothel!!!

  9. Sounds like there will be a lot of rovers down in Bristol, Anybody organising a meet fri/sat night???!.

I'm goin down with boout 8 who there for both nights.

    tinykit.gif  rover.gif

We're going down on the Friday.....should definately arrange something.

    Who knows the area though?

Should arrange a meet up on friday night in bristol followed by hurling abuse at the FA (F*****G A***S) for the stupid kick off time!!!

theres something that both sets of fans can get involved in!

Dont you mean all four clubs can get involved and hurl abuse at the FA (F*****G A***S)
