I think it was earlyer than that when i found out the proper reason why couldnt get broadband. so been a long wait i will prob get aol because i am already on aol and plus i game alot and with the new xbox 360 coming out i dont relli wanna be capped and plus will have 3 computers and the xbox connected to it. On second note the checker still aint changed and aint saw the bt man at the estate box since wednesday so dunno when i get might still order it now and explain to aol the situation.

i have known for a while why its been knocked back but i new some people that work or did work for bt. But they been saying its distance when it has not been all time and was because broadband goes threw a copper wire and not a fibre cable that we have just to the estate box from blackburn exchange not between estate box and house. Hopefully we all can get broadband on estate by end off week (well ordered)

bt have finished there trails off 8meg to 24 meg adsl 2+ but wotn be to houses for a while and bt are doing another trial off 8meg adsl. they are also trailing a fibre optic cable alternative which is 20 times faaster than adsl aswell but do think ntl have always been the ones to keep the fast connections ahead off the rest

i gonna have to get aol though like and we have 3 pc's (2 desktop and 1 labtop) and xbox 360 to connect to it aswell so should be fun me setting the bugger up eh me dad ordered it threw bt one time like that made wait 2 weeks and then another week and said we where to far dad went absolutly mad with them lol

mine aint changed on the site yet so looks like i cannot get just yet and there should be enough space on copper for us all on estate But have got 2 lines going into house but that still shouldnt be a problem fingers crossed eh

hey ah mate i have had some info a good month ago from a bt enginneer and he saying that they are actually doing copper wire from exchange to the estate box because thats where the fibre cable is and is in its last stage off completion. and he was saying that it should all be sorted defornatly by end off this year. he told me this when the fones went down one time a month ago ish because i live on fernhurst aswell on dalglish drive. also he said it is unofficial news from bt so if you ask them you wont get anything worse luck and i reacon they doign new copper wire because off the school. also in a year or 2 we will prob be able to get the fibre alternative once its finished its trials its 20 times faster than the normal adsl broadband at the moment that is as long as they leave the fibre and coper down . Hope this spreads some light on it for you and if cannot wait there is a broadband alternative out there which can get if want. /thebigguy

I have seen that but firstly i wud like to say playstation always ship a lower spec console than wot they say http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-x-19..._features_image Link to it all but wot they forget to add is that ps3 is 1 core cpu wen teh xbox 3 is a 3 core cpu abit like 3 cpus in one in simple terms and look at bottom at the bandwidths cos thats wot matters xbox got over 200gig worth wen ps3 only got 22.5gig max. Also everything in the xbox 360 was tweaked to get best performance out off it like the graphics stuff was made and then edited and edited to gt best out off ti same with teh cpu and other things so these are NONE standard things and wont be able to get for ya pc yeah i like the xbox mroe than ps3 the only good thing about ps3 is its got like 5 years worth off games gonna be able to be played on it

i'll be gettign xbox it can play the older games i heard and y not get the console at beginning They wasnt going to put hard drive in but had to to make it backwards compatible wit older games free xbox live if connected to internet be able to download software updates for ya xbox so way internet and software is coming they cud off set the xbox to auto check for software upgrades wen goes online on raw power the xbox 360 even beats the ps3 liek 100 times on the bandwidth side xbox 360 has a 3 core processor with each core runnign at 3ghz or over wen ps3 has 1 core Xbox 360 can be conencted to pc as standard and can load ya mp3's vides and pictures from pc onto xbox 360 because xbox 360 is a media center aswell Also uk will be changing to hdtv mode in the next year or already goign to it so be fully hdtv in like a few years after wen they store the older ones that using atm Yeah i luv me technology which helps make life easy
