1. The prices have been kept low which the club must be congratuled for especially the prices for under 18s.

The game is not tv either & were playing our arch ememy at home so i for one will be travelling a 900 mile round trip to support rovers & not ca
ring about the venkys or what league were in for 90 minutes.

Raise the roof, pack the ground, line road from the motorway to Ewood Park & make Burnley feel uncomfortable, very uncomfortable

As far the sections of seats being kept closed for segregation, if we did sell out i would presume they will open some more seats to be sold like they did for Liverpool a couple of years back.

Were Playing Burnley our arch ememy no excuses!

  2. One thing the council have failed to done IMO is the transport / parking situation at and around Ewood.

Several double deckers come down from Darwen, both picking up at all the Rovers pubs and a special service that just runs down the main road. This alleviates the need to park your car at Ewood and more importantly allows a few drinkie poos. ohmy.gif Only £2 return.

And there is a frequant public bus service to Darwen and Blackburn every 5 to ten minutes! withstupid.gif

  3. Is traffic bad round Ewood?  I mean worse than any other ground?

I get the 10 miles from Leyland every matchday in around 15 minutes to my parking spot on the Livesey Branch.  I dont think thats bad.  Course there is gonna be traffic, look at Old Trafford, dual carraigeways every way away from the ground yet its hundreds of timnes worse that Ewood (and yes I know there is more people)

    323639

Exactly i've been to over two thirds of the grounds in football league, and ewood as got one of the most parking facilities there is. What do people want to do park outside the ground and get a police escort as soon as they want! Get realistic withstupid.gif

  4. Thanks for the goals, Stead!

Just hope we bring someone to be our first team striker!

Guess now we have the money to buy McCarthy, if the offer is confirmed.

In the LET that with Stead about to go, it could pave the way for Cole to return! I hope it's not ture because he will want big wages and will there be a transfer fee involved even though Souness sold him for free, and i don't believe in past players returning! withstupid.gif

    323366

What about Henning Berg he came back and did a fantastic job for us. If Cole can keep fit I think it would be a good short term move for Rovers but they need a younger striker as well

    323391

How often is a player a success when returing to a old?

How much is his he going to cost with a transfer?

Will get the same wage has he had when he was at the club before?

It's like going back out with a former girlfriend! you get sloppy seconds! withstupid.gif

    No thanks

  7. I only went to the game to see if the players were going to throw their shirts into the crowd at the end of the match, and to see if any of them would do a Dyer and Boywer by having a cat fight! Loads of scratching, pulling each others hair, and grabbing each others private parts would have been better than the game which was crap! withstupid.gif

  8. Given that Blackburn has a large ethnic minority population and East lancashire has a whole, i would like to know what the club are doing to attract more of these people? Because by attracting more people from ethnic backgrounds it will help to increase our attendances! withstupid.gif

And please don't take any offence anybody!

So John Williams stop moaning and get your finger out your arse, and do some work!

  9. We need a ' Pay at the turnstile ' option. How many people wake up on a saturday morning and think ' I fancy going to a match today '. But can't, because of the need to buy a ticket in advance.

I used to have mates that came to games every now and then, but have never been since tickets were introduced. Even if they were prepared to buy a ticket, they couldn't sit near me.

I'm sure many thousand of potential floaters just never bother now, just as I never bother going watching anyone else, unlike days gone by.

    322593

Are the floating fans that lazy they cant walk to the ticket office! withstupid.gif

  10. Down at Ewood this morning and quite a few people buying 5-6 tickets at a time. Looks as though this will be a very good gate - 20,000 at least. I wanted JW upper and could only get the back row so we settled for the JW side of the BBE were we could only get seats 5 and 6. Only singles available in the CIS and when I asked if the FS was open the girl replied "not yet".

It's a lovely day, get to Ewood and support the ladies.

I'd rather watch paint dry than watch womens football!

  11. Just found this on the UEFA website.

    They got the directions wrong

    M6 Junction 9  ohmy.gif

According to them, it's sir Jack Walker, they also call Blackburn a city and get this:

Our advice to anyone planning on driving in Blackburn is to get practising your hill starts - just like their football team there are plenty of ups and downs.

    biggrin.gif

    321820

Like womens football plenty of ups and downs! withstupid.gif cheeky @#/?s!

  12. Whats the point in the Euro 2005 womens football when it's like watching monkey tennis. i wonder if they get booked if they take of their shirts when they score! withstupid.gif

    320499

Are you calling yourself stupid there?

    320505

It's means i'm with somebody called stupid! take it you swing on the other side when it comes to womens football puff! withstupid.gif
