  1. i think we all clearly have different views on lucas

i thought his performance was ok today, nothing special

but was does impress me his i willingness to contribute past the half way line with the ball - i can see how this effects gamst and other defenders because if it goes astray we get caught out down his side, but i like it - rovers players in control of the ball and not ashamed to call for it and make space to receive pass is good to see

  2. As long as the useless Henchoz and Jeffers stays long away from the starting XI

Why dont you just give it a chuffin rest!!

This is a squad game and they are in our :brfc: squad

Face it, Jeffers is now the 3rd choice striker. Iin my opinion he deserves to get 90 mins under his belt in the home game on thursday. Henchoz didnt really do anything wrong last week against chelsea, i know that they got in behind a couple of times but they did have a rather fast front line.

I should know better, but why do people slate these players, they play for rovers :brfc: not for the opposition, its what we have.

  3. PIE WATCH

The new pies are not up to scratch. The chicken baltis are way too sweet, had one at the City game, and to make sure it was not just a bad batch, had another one at the Wigan game (ironically). Still sweet.

Switched to cheese and onion yesterday, suffice to say the trades description people should be taking an interest in the title of this poor effort. The pastry was bizarrely soggy and too dry at the same time and the filling looked pensioners spaff.

    NEXT WEEK

Ozz tries the old standard Meat and Potatoe. Watch this space.

I have to say that I really do like the Meat & Potatoe Pie this season.

Also very kind of the bolton fans walking back up the hill to the car park to remind me that I had eaten 1 or 2 too many :P

  4. £204

Absoloute STEAL !! (words cant really describe the value, can they)??

    2 x Salzburg

    2 x Bolton

    3 x Chelsea

    3 x Basle

    3 x Nancy

As a supporter who cant make saturday games, the uefa cup and carling cup games represent unbelievable value, capped of by the bolton game being moved and also being incredibly cheap.

During the sunday or midweek league games sitting in the cheap section of the jack walker stand is ok. Now being able to move to the the upper section for an amazing view for those prices is unreal.

Every time the club has made the announcements that the chelsea, bolton, uefa cup games were all cheaper, im wearing a grin like a cheshire cat. It makes me proud to be a blackburn supporter and that the club can make these gestures, I just pray that everybody else gets behind the team and makes this effort from the club all worthwhile.

  5. Me and my mates might go crazy and get the P&O "mini-cruise" from Hull to Rotterdam, sets sail 21:00 on Wed night and comes home 21:00 on Fri. Its about £75 each including cabin. The ship has a bar, club and casino!

If we can get match tickets that is the route me and my old man will be making.

  6. I have just watched the highlights (maybe not many highs) on sky.

Just watched the bookings for lucas i find the 2nd yellow to be very harsh. I know the player was going nowhere and it was right on the touchline and lucas should know better but i have certainly seen worse tackles go unpunished. Especially the tackle by johnson on mgp.

Feel that Axe was badly at fault for the 3rd, maybe brad should be getting to it as well.

Never a penalty but a great penalty save, shame that they seemed to be reacting a lot quicker to the rebound but it was all a little bit too late.

    Roll on wednesday
