  1. Anyone know how to get there by train? Is it straight forward or not?

Depends which way the engine is facing and you're sitting :)

London Euston and the tube to, I think, Fulham Broadway. Haven't been for years.

Paul has it right when i was down there i stayed right at Earls court which is one stop i think from Fulham Broadway which IS where you need to get off go up the stairs through a little mall like walk way and make a left and walk a ways. Theres a fish and chips place right near there as you walk out the doors, AWFUL food. Also there a record store to your left, right as you walk out the ¨mall¨doors and that where i seen some kid get aressted for stealing a CD it was top notch. Also you can go to Euston or St. Panc and take the tube there, if i remember St. P is a little closer but you might want to check. i thiink a round trip to and from each station on the tube is like 5 or so pounds. i spent a LOT of time all around there when i visited seeing as i was based right out of London and Earls Court. Giveum hell when you go guys. I still remember being the only Rovers fan on the train and tube rides to and from the FA Semi last season...Scary stuff <_< ... Ya right... ;)

  2. What's really difficult is getting one here in the States. None available anywhere on line, so I looked in the Rover's store...£24 to ship it over here. That's just a bit less than the shirt :o

    I think not

I know just what you mean. For the X-mas the ex bout me the shorts and socks and it cost all of $35 US. I bought the home shirt my self and with 3 day shiping (mandatory, the site wouldnt let me click anything else other then 3 day shiping  ) It cost me $110 US! I mean i went to the shop in person and bought 2 adult home shirt with lettering a child jersy and a couple of other nic-nacs and still spent less. Wasnt to happy to say the least.

  3. Having not been a fan when Jack was alive, i feel a little like i missed out on a large part of is what is Rovers now. In a way i feel like a kid who hears about there great uncle Jack, never haveing met him but loving all the storys and great thing people say about him. Thats how i feel, not haveing been around when he was there but feeling like i knew him. Thank you Jack, for bringing Rovers as far as you did and bringing joy to Rovers fans all over the world.

Theres only one Jack Walker!! RIP

  4. I do not save programs so I was surprised to find these two when clearing out a drawer.

    Burnley v Rovers Sunday 17th December 2000

Rovers v Wolves Sunday 18th November 2000 (125yr Souvenir Special Issue)

As both matches were significant I thought a board member might want to add them to their collection.

    Please PM me.

Well ill take them if thats ok. Heres the kicker...I live in the states...Please consider Thanks

  5. Well if neill IS going to move to west ham then my buddy rob will be very happy about this seeing as hes a big west ham fan. I on the other hand am a little said to see him go. He always seemed to make his presence felt in the back even when he was haveing a bad day. I feel that if he wants to move on then best of luck to him and would like to thank him for all the service that he gave to this club in the past. But i also feel that i have to say that him saying hes not moving for the money is complete crap! I mean thats like saying that beckum made the move to the LA because he like the sunshine. I mean if your going for the money then just say that. I mean shoot who of us wouldnt go for that kinda money? Well all things happen for a reason and im sure like its been said before that Sparky will come through and fill the spot just fine. :brfc:

  6. I think they do, I'll check next time I'm at the store, which is probably Tuesday

Hey thanks paul that would help me out a lot. If you could also kinda give me a short run down of what other Rover related items they might have it would help a lot. Thx

  7. Well that just sucks a fat one. I am planing on taking a trip to England all the way from the USA just to see the rovers in action and was planing on asking on staying out there for at least 2 weeks and planing on spending quite a bit of money on Rovers merchandise well ok lets be honest a LOT of money, and now that i here this it bums me right the F out. I have seen other club shops on the channel and i see the kinda of things they have at the grounds like there teams home jeresys and kits geting players numbers put on them and the array of home team merchandise seems out of this world. Well i hope that this is problum is taken care of when i go to see them because i would hate to go to see the mighty Rovers kick ass and them come home with not a Rover badge or nic-nac to show for it. :brfc:

  8. Well i just seen the game and seeing the Bently strike made my jaw drop!! I mean i play keeper here at home and just seeing that ball fly the way it did made me feel kinda bad hanaman but then i remember that Rovers just smoked one by him and all that feeling bad for him goes right out the window!! LOL. Great win for us today hoping to see more shots like that from Bently and less off sides from McCarty.Keep it up Rovers!!! Keep it up!!! :brfc:

  9. Can any one out there tell me if they have the full 06/07 keeper kit for sale at the club shop at EWood? Im hopfully going to go to england in 07 from the USA and wanted to know because they dont have it for sale in there onlive store. Any info would help also do they have the athentic jersys both home away and keeper? Thx

  10. Well being from the USA they havent showin the game on the channel yet but i couldnt wait!!! When i seen that Rovers won i literally fell out of my chair! I am VERY happy with the results today and cant wait to see the game. And as for having liverpool and the gunners next. I have faith that Rovers will play well. Its seems to me that when we play a top 4 team we play and up to that level of football. I mean look at the results we got agenst Man U this year and even better last year. Hopfully the fact that henry is out and that the boys have a little fire under there ass's will get them going in the right direction. Also wanted to point out that we were in almost the same spot this year as we were last year and look how the boys ran with it and came away with a 6th place finish. I feel that we all need to be backing the Rovers and Hughs in bad as well as good. Keep it up Rovers!!! Keep it up!!! :brfc:
