  1. Ha ha! I'm glad you like the stickers. I'm responsible for them! I am the Retail Manager at Wigan (rugby not football). We've had to re-order 3 times on these! Those Wiganers do love their pies!

I've not bought one yet but I will do, it'll go nicely in the back window of his new cherry-red car ;)

  2. Cracking game last night and nowhere near as difficult as many predicted. Totally dominated Huddersfield. We now appear to be building up a head of steam and moving up through the gears. Bodes well for the business end of the season.

Sam Tomkins? He's the Magic Man! Great crowd too, at just over 19k.

I got my Dad two tickets for Father's Day, he took the son-in-law who's never watched Rugby before and he described Sam Tomkins as a little worm

The highlight of their day was seeing this ;) and winning of course.

  3. That was down to the usless players we had on the pitch. I literally lost count of the amount of times Rochina played a pass and made a run into enough space to build shopping centre on , only for Emerton, Cruz, Jones or Dunn to screw it up and play the ball backwards.

If those players mentioned had attempted to play the one two Rochina clearly had in mind, it could very well of been a different match.

Rochina has some excelent close ball control and I feel he can be a huge player in the PL with the right players around him.

But at least Dunn had a shot which went narrowly wide and Emerton put in a good cross for the Pedersen chance, Rochina didn't create anything from what I can remember. All I'm trying to say is all the fancy stuff (most of the time was in our own half ;)) is not going to keep us up. I'd rather see us go back to basics, hoof the ball out of our own half, instead we tried passing the ball about ten times before we got into Everton's half, it was getting us nowhere. If only we had more players with the same close ball control but all the good fancy tricks he did yesterday was to no avail. It might work in another game with Hoilett out wide and Nzonzi back in midfield, I'd like to see him start against City and let's hope his hard work pays off.

  4. Considering he is playing behind the striker with 3 other midfielders who should have been defending then I can't blame him too much. He showed promise today and seemed a lot more determined than most.

In that case Rochina should have been attacking ;) He did a few fancy tricks but seriously I don't think he created one chance or had a shot.

Saying that he was probably our best player, says it all really.

  5. The Sun newspaper makes me sick, where do they get these vile headlines from about the tragic incident! Johns mum says in the LT that the police told her the bin has hit him on the back of the head following it being chucked around, but the sun makes it out to be game that has gone wrong as if it's done at every home game.

I will never buy that paper again!

    R.I.P John

'THE TRUTH' is, the Sun newspaper is sick.

A tribute was just on the North West News, it's so upsetting, they confirmed we will have a minutes silence @ the game on Wednesday.

  6. Greco, he will never be forgotten. I'm so upset and I don't think I knew him, might have seen him around as you always see the same familiar faces at away games, but how I feel will be nothing compared to how his close friends and family are feeling. I'll be thinking of them. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

    Rest in Peace.

  7. Nice from the Stoke fans, shows the few comments I read earlier were just a bad selection from their lot.

Hope its not true about the life support

The Stoke fans were brilliant, after the game a man came over to us in the pub and asked if a Rovers fan had died (we all thought he had died at the time) and he looked really upset and said how sorry he was to hear that.

  8. Ben-2000 that would have been me. Someone made a similar one up on the official boards before me but it didn't quite fit with the tune, so i kinda came up with that one and i couldn't stop singing it all night. :brfcsmilie:

Its shame it'll prob never get going at Ewood. Only the one liners seem to.

  9. Loving the title of the story on sky sports @ the mo Mokoena: i want to play. Fair enough he has just come back from a slight injury and we thought it was worse than what it was but if he'd got his marking right against Manchester United in the box from a corner kick then we would have a totally different scenario that day. Not blaming him for the loss as its a team perfomance but he needs to fight for his place and prove to everyone that he's the axe. I just think he needs to up his game that little bit.

  10. Hahaha loving it i'm glad someone is on my wave length well not quite because i could only think of the first three lines of

    Sergio woah oah

    Sergio woah oah

    He comes from Germany...........

Couldnt think of anything else so slipped a line in about Lee (because it was the only thing which kinda rhymed) on official boards and got banned so i wont repeat what i said wouldnt wana be banned from here now would i but someone said something worse and didnt get banned. Oh well not to worry. Sorry Lee.
