btw a clue..... both of em are money orientated but one of them is a 'proper' man.

The whole thing puts into perspective how much of a true professional one of those mentioned happens to be. Both are situations i'd rather not have seen, but at least one will be looked at in hindsight as "excusable given the manner in which it was conducted".

I still can't get over the amount of hatred there is for Allardyce - Okay, so he's not exactly what we would have had on our Xmas lists, but come on - I do wonder how much of the random dislike comes from seeing him in your dugout for so long.

He still turns my stomach a little, but so do most of the players down the road - It's just one of those things, that local rivalry thing again - But seriously, we can't let that get in the way of the fact that he did a tremendous job before Newcastle made a scapegoat of him.

Still not my number one choice, but i wouldn't be disappointed if he was announced.

There are enough people out there who love to take things away from Rovers, we don't need our own fans knocking our achievements as well.

I have a never ending arguement with a bunch of Scouse mates who constantly berate me for us "buying the title". Yes, we had cash, but the way that it is being mutated into some kind of jolly shopping jaunt, where we bought an entire team that guaranteed us a shot is going to be the death of me.

Add to that Chelsea fans trying to compare what they've done with what we did... honestly, sometimes i question my own memory.
