Early bird no. If you decide to buy a ticket before the season starts then yes.

Comparing Cheapest area (BBE, Riverside) Mid-Priced areas (JW wings), Expensive areas (JW Central) again other local clubs with 2 or 3 differently-priced areas.

    EARLY BIRD

    END OF JULY

    image.png.fa895b0d2933cdb76dcfce66c4811363.png

Bolton EB finished 22nd April and North End is 5th June, both well before fixtures announced and tv dates released. Blackpool is 30th June and Wigan 28th June, after fixtures but probably before Sky dates.

Burnley's cheapest was in an 'Accessible Corner L0 L1' so not sure how many available there, more generally £387 was the cheapest. They would appear to have sold out.

All clubs unlikely to have early birds before Sky dates so that is not an argument for people to complain, although when Sky release date is known, that might inform clubs on choosing dates for next year.

Our prices are reasonably competitive considering the level of football (as opposed to perceived possible standard of football). The EB is cheaper than last year.

Ultimately the fans are shafted by SKY.

Just worked out I get one payday to consider it. So my choice to not get a ST has become ‘cannot if I wanted to’.

    Cheers Swagg.

You knew this was coming soon. Stop whinging. You should have planned for it. Cheaper than last year so you can have no argument.

  3. This has to be a fair deal for families and young adults who can renew before end of first phase. You get an adult and 2 kids for £400-500 up to end of phase 2. This is affordable for many working people (they can spread the cost for a slight premium). If they can't afford this then they probably wouldn't buy in at any price. It should increase ST numbers and promote long term support if the idea continues. I think that you should get a discount for buying early and May/June are lighter times cost wise for people.

I can't access my loyalty points as yet (has anyone managed this?) but I reckon I have 183 from last season. I think it is a good idea to promote the Women's team though I have never been to a match (live in Hull and one travel a week is enough) but think that it is too highly weighted when you look at pro-rata cost (£65 adult, 45 OAP, 25/15 kids). Some will buy a Women's ST instead of 1875 as the point value is better than a pair of socks and a wash bag. This will create a negative aspect for the Women (i.e say 300 STs but only 100 turning up).

  4. Pretty obvious to me. Pushing for play offs and bonus of same cost if promoted vs possible relegation and same cost for inferior product. Never understood why you would sell season tickets before end of season as bulk of fans still paying for matches in current season, either by direct debit or funding away trips at expensive places like Leeds/Leicester.

  5. PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING IN REPLIES BELOW:-

    1. Who will win this year’s Championship ?

    Leicester City

    2. Who will claim runners-up spot ?

    Southampton

    3. Who will finish rock bottom in the Championship ?

    Sheffield Wednesday

    4. Where will Rovers finish this season in the league ?

    6th

    5. How many league goals will Rovers score this season ?

    56

    6. Who will win the BRFCS POTY ?

    Szmodics

  6. Can't see Gallagher not starting with Brittain playing. Hedges played lots in friendlies so think he will start. Like the fact that he is prepared to have a shot, and can get it reasonably on target. Dolan looked fit as a fiddle on Saturday and should play for 45-60 mins chasing down I would think. Would think Dack & Vale will come on if necessary.

  7. Why does it have to be glossy? An old fashioned paper version would be far cheaper to produce and could sell for £1-£2  (as with 4000 holes). Would probably shift more too. Most of what is in the expensive booklets can be found online and is trivial. Easier to stuff in a pocket and won't take up as much room if collecting.

Grammer is important, EG. I helped my Uncle Jack, off a horse.

Or                                       I helped my Uncle, jack off a horse.

No comma needed in either of these statements, although the capitalisation or not of the word 'jack' is important.

The first implies that you are helping your Uncle Jack dismount from a horse, whilst the second implies that you have a dodgy uncle. Note that uncle would not be capitalised either in the second case. You would also be complicit in committing an offence. Is this your Uncle Jack? https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/man-deviant-sexual-history-locked-12554539
