I believe Wigan played Saints today. Any pie eaters know the score ? My lot ( the mighty 'nets ) won a titanic struggle against Doncaster Dragons at Spotland today. Next week Keigthly away. I never could spell Kiegthly.

Just bought Call of Duty Black Ops for £29.99 at Morrisons (Ramsbottom). Spied it on Uk hotdeals.

I LOVE HIS REPLACEMENT!
So do I. He will be like a breath of fresh air at Ewood.

Sky Sports News reporting that Benni has said he will not play for Blackburn Rovers again.

I did a search on Hunter S Thompson dancer
-
I believe it was off a famous quote by the american journalist and author Hunter S Thompson that 'America was raising a generation of dancers'.
From Yahoo answers:
"Hunter S. Thompson meant that the US was making people afraid of stepping out of place and following their own beat. He was saying that people were only following the steps they were taught, and were also taught not to change them. In the song "Human" one of the lines is "Some times I get nervous when I see an open door". By this he meant that he is afraid to take different opportunities when they are presented to him, because living in the US has made us all afraid to go against what we've thought for all our lives. That is what Thompson."
A search for Hunter S Thompson and Dancers might find some more information about it.
Many thanks RVR

Before the last two or three home matches they have played The Killers song Human. There is a line "are we human or are we dancer". Could someone explain what "dancer" means / is as I cannot make any sense of it. I thought I was just out of touch with modern lingo but I have asked my daughter who is into music and she dosen't know either.

"McCarthy often dropped deep looking for work"
"The Blackburn striker showed his class"

Unless Turkish TV has a standard tape they play for games from Ewood Park, it was all boom boom boom gerrintoem.
Or am I missing the irony?
Definitely no drummer at ewood yesterday. I sit in JW stand overlooking the Blackburn end and the sound of silence was deafening.

After a reasonable period of HD being available I am now interested in having sky hd installed. My question to those that have it is :- was it worth it or is it all hype? :- would you still have it installed or would you advise me to wait.
FYI I have a 32" Sony Bravia tv and subscribe to the full sky package.

The Scottish Premier league match today between Gretna and Inverness CT was attended by the grand total of 1,020.
And we think we have problems.
10,944 were at Turf Moor v Southampton.

Villa bring a decent amount down, Liverpool will get the whole Darwen End like always. Portsmouth took about 5,000 down to Wigan yesterday annd when they played us, 500 only turned up, we're not that far from Wigan!
Portsmouth provided free coaches to Wigan, thats why the number of away fans was high.

Well ill take them if thats ok. Heres the kicker...I live in the states...Please consider Thanks
Hi RFU

Why don't you just make him a copy?
Cheers Eddie for that little gem.

Probably "achieve" little, other than to hasten Neill's departure (hopefully), but there's nothing wrong with letting him know that his attitude towards the club we love stinks.
Attitude - what attitude Jim?
I would also like to know what attitude Jim.

Was at the game tonight with mates who have been pro Niell throughout this protracted Liverpool/Barca (you must be joking!) saga. One of the previosly pro Niell lads stated he never wants to see him in a Rovers shirt again after his insult to those who have contributed to his wages for the last 4 years and have had the temerity to voice their dissapproval of his public snubbing of our club.
When you give it you have got to be able to take it ! It looks like your mates can't.
-
Neill certainly gave the BBE boo boys an 'up yours' subtle goal celebration tonight. I couldn't stop laughing. Good one Lucas.
-
Mark Hughes has no intention of taking the captaincy off Lucas Neill.

As for the booing of Neill its pathetic. To boo one of your own team during a match is beyond belief. Are you going to boo him every match until the end of the season should rovers not let him go. He signed a contract and is prepared to honour it. He has not asked to leave he has said he is not prepared to sign another contract. He hasn't done a Bellamy or a Le Saux or a Shearer, he has laid his cards on the table and as far as I can see has done his best for the team. Give the chap a break.

Rovers v Charlton and Spurs v Borough
Highlights on Skysports 1 at 22.00 to 23.30
2-0 Rovers (Benni & Bentley)
-
Don't think they did one
They certainly did. It was titled "We're Back" Rovers goal action 2000-2001 campaign including Rovers magnificent seven goals against Burnley, exclusive interview with Graeme Souness and end of season tribute to Jack Walker.
And no you cannot have it.

I do not save programs so I was surprised to find these two when clearing out a drawer.
Burnley v Rovers Sunday 17th December 2000
Rovers v Wolves Sunday 18th November 2000 (125yr Souvenir Special Issue)
As both matches were significant I thought a board member might want to add them to their collection.
Please PM me.

Superb offer from the club that must have the rest of the premier league fans green with envy.

Well done rovers.

Thanks for that answer to my question den. The prices being mentioned are quite large and to pay that sort of money for something that could be just a tv industry selling ploy is just stupid. Many posters have stated prices and where to buy but non have said if they are happy with their puchase, and if they are does the improvement justify the amount paid.
Sceptic
