Teams Wigan Res: Croll, Johnson, Waterhouse, Edwards, Roberts, Stephan, Middleton (Samuel 67), Joyce, Hazeldine, Litchfield (Smith 80), Owens. Subs not used: Heywood, Saunders, Montrose.
