Alan75
Anfield hasn't been a good hunting ground for Rovers in the league for some time, the last victory being back in September 1993, when they won 1-0 with a goal from Mike Newell. Yet there have been happy times at Anfield no more than the 14th May 1995, when despite loosing 2-1, Rovers and Liverpool supporters joined together to party the night away in celebration of Rovers winning the Premiership. Liverpool have failed to win five of their six League matches this season however Rovers will need to be careful if they are not to suffer from a back lash to Liverpool's last home game when they were beaten 4-1 by Chelsea. Whilst history would dictate a Liverpool win, Rovers go to Anfield on a high after beating Manchester United at Old Trafford for the first time in over 40 years, so who knows, maybe there could be a reverse of fortunes as well at Anfield. Whilst Robbie Savage will be available following his suspension, it would appear that Craig Bellamy wont have recovered from his knee injury and Shefki Kuqi will once again lead the attack.
