After going in 1-0 at the break, thanks to an early Joe Garner goal, Rovers Reserves were beaten 2-1 by Everton Reserves at Christie Park, Morecambe tonight.

For the whole of the first half Rovers had dominated the game, however the sending off of Eddie Nolan, for a hand ball on the goal line, just before half time was the turning point of the game.

Everton equalised through Vidarsson 10 minutes into the second half, before Hopkins fired Everton into the lead with 20 minutes of the game remaining.
