Despite going down 2 – 0, Rovers fought back, with goals from, Kuqi, Thompson and Bentley to beat Charlton 3 - 2 tonight, to go into the draw for the next round of the Carling Cup.

A first half goal by Ambrose and early second half goal by Murphy were cancelled out by Rovers substitutes Shefki Kuqi and David Thompson, before David Bentley hit a dramatic winner in the 88th minute to put Rovers into the quarter finals.
