Two U21 Stars Sign

Following the earlier signing of Faroe Islands Under-21 international keeper Gunnar Nielsen, Rovers have this afternoon signed Holland Under-21 striker Maceo Rigters from NAC Breda.

Maceo Rigters hit the headlines during the European Under-21 Championship last month, for his goal tally, which included an overhead strike against England.

It is understood that Rovers beat off a number of clubs, including Celtic and Newcastle in getting the young strikers signature, who has signed a four year deal at Ewood this evening, for an unknown fee.
