Guest Kamy100
Blackburn Rovers today confirmed that Benni McCarthy has signed a new deal which commits his long term future to the club. The deal is reported to extend his contract to 2011. McCarthy was the top scorer last season but this season has failed to reproduce that form. Earlier this month manager Mark Hughes commented that it was very important to get players of the ability of McCarthy to sign new deals as that would help to take club forward. Rovers fans will be hoping the new deal will signal a return to form for McCarthy.
