Roque Staying At Rovers

Blackburn Rovers star striker Roque Santa Cruz has shot down speculation linking him with a move away from Ewood. Rovers confirmed earlier today that they had rejected a bid from Man City who put in an official bid despite being told numerous times that Roque is not for sale.

In an interview with Sky Sports Santa Cruz said that he would be staying at Rovers and was happy. He also added that "speculation has been going all season, when the matches start hopefully the talk will stop".

I am sure after the events of the summer all Rovers fans will breath a huge sigh of relief and now can focus on the start of the season on Saturday against Everton.
