It has been widely reported in the media that business tycoon Mr Ahsan Ali has made a bid to buy Rovers. Mr Ali's media consultant Julia Thiem has talked exclusively to this website. She has confirmed that they have made "a formal bid to purchase Blackburn Rovers, has been submitted and is being considered by Rothchild's and the Trustees of Blackburn Rovers", she added "we are extremely interested in buying the club and hope to conclude the deal as soon as possible".
