The Gulls boss Leroy Rosenior said: "Darren has done brilliantly for us, and he absolutely loves it here, he doesn't want to go back.", however club chairman Mike Bateson has ruled out the possibility of making the move permanent by adding "Darren is on big money, too big for us". The 21 year old has already made five appearances for Rovers and has had previous loan spells at Bristol City, Rochdale and Blackpool.
