Tabloid reports suggest that Rovers are looking to sign Alpay from Villa - nothing new there but the suggestion that Garry Flitcroft will be swapped for Alpay does appear to be another twist to the story. Esperance star Ali Zitouni, previously linked with West Ham, is now reported as a target for Graeme Souness.
