finndaloo
I have been a member on the site for many years but rarely post although events of late have prompted me to do so on occasion...........my first match was back in the sixties with Rovers beating Northampton at Ewood and Dougie netting from the penalty spot. Thoroughly enjoyed the plough back from third division oblivion and regard our Premier years as a fabulous gift bestowed by Uncle Jack. Usually find myself speechless when thinking about current events and regard the posts and podcasts on this site as a way to connect with others who feel the same way. Apart from being forced to watch the demise of a club which has been a cherished part of my life for as long as I have followed football I am also saddened by the way in which our present plight has generated a growing sense of rift across our fanbase................Hopefully we will eventually overcome this chaos and get back to enjoying the football. A Rovers goal still provides me with that same thrill of excitement I experienced when Douglas netted his penalty.............
